The Goddard School Henderson

Goddard School of Henderson is a very high quality environment for young children preparing for elementary, middle and high school curricula. We sent all our children through their first three years of prep to Goddard and have found the teachers, administrators and management to be the very best at providing an individualized program that enhances a child's strengths and heals their weaknesses with the right mix of sensitive care and strict protocol. Jyoti and Gagan Verma are first rate educators and they've got an administrative team led by Gia Shafer that runs as tight a ship as a parent could possibly want at their two locations in the Valley. We are proud to have sent our children in for their early years and recommend to all those who can, they should. You won't regret it.

We have been part of the Goddard family for 6 years :) It has been a wonderful school for my babies and they have been so accommodating with life’s little changes. We are grateful to have found such a great place!

Our son attended Goddard and we have nothing but very positive things to say! It was an excellent experience and the communication was top notch. The was our best preschool experience in the valley by far and we will likely send our second son her as well!

My daughter attended preschool here for 2 years. Before starting, she was terrified at the concept of school... but within weeks it was her favorite thing ever.

The teachers are patient, caring, and dedicated. My kiddo adored all her teachers and they helped develop her love of learning. She still asks to go back and visit them. :)

The administrative staff is fantastic, supportive and creates a great experience (for both parents and children). One of the best aspects of Goddard is how well they handled my daughter’s allergies. They were meticulous and proactive, ensuring her safety while allowing her to participate fully in all activities.

I highly recommend the Goddard School to any parent seeking an exceptional (and safe) preschool experience. We miss our Goddard Family!

My four year old has been attending the Goddard school for about a month now and we love it. I feel that the curriculum is very kid focused. He feels like he’s playing all day even when he’s learning. His teachers Mrs. Marisol and Esmeralda are incredible. They make him feel so safe, welcomed, and loved. We love this school!

We waited 11 months for a spot to open for my girls, and after spending a full week here so far I can understand why. Goddard staff (sequoia, Gia) have been remarkable. I’m a very anxious mom, who worries about everything constantly and they were always responsive, kind, reassuring, and welcoming. The facility is upscale, clean, (they use a massive toxin free sanitizer for all the toys) there’s a gym , and a lovely playground that even houses an adorable garden. There are NO screens in the children’s classes which is extremely important to me. The kids are engaged by caring and kind teachers, there’s updates on my kids with photos, and little notes. We feel like we found the place our girls can thrive in. The wait was long and painful, but seems so very worth it. If you want the best for your kids… Goddard is it!

The Goddard school is like a second family to us! We’ve had our daughter there since she was 3 months old, and have had nothing but a wonderful experience. Not only do we TRUST the faculty and staff, but you can feel genuine care in the interactions and relationships we have developed. I absolutely recommend them to any parents looking for childcare they can trust, that also has a a balanced emphasis on learning and development from a young age.

We feel so blessed to have found The Goddard School of Henderson. Following a military move from Texas to Nevada, we were kindly welcomed by Gia and the rest of the team. After touring the facility, we quickly realized we had found the place for our children to call "home" away from home. We have had the pleasure of working with some of the most patient, talented teachers over the years at Goddard. Given that she was born during the pandemic she did not get as much socialization in her first years that most children are used to and within the first week her confidence soared. Now she is a social butterfly. The staff and teachers are absolutely incredible and make sure that the environment for learning and having fun hits all of your expectations and beyond as a parent. Given that this is the first school experience for most of the children here they do a great job of including the parents in events so you can see your child’s development along the way. We absolutely love the app that Goddard has for the parents to get pictures throughout the day and it’s a great communication tool to use for the parents with the staff and teachers. My 2nd boy is moving on to kindergarten next month and I wanted to leave a review to truly show how appreciative my family was to have used Goddard Day Care and Learning Center. We met Gia ( the school director) 8 years ago. Pregnant with our first baby, my husband and I were looking for a daycare that we could trust. After the tour of the facility we were truly impressed with the cleanliness and safety protocols of the daycare! After meeting Joyti ( the owner) we had no doubt that this was the right daycare for our baby! Joyti, with 2 kids of her own, is the most patient and compassionate owner of any businesses we have ever encountered. She takes the time to listen to all of our questions and concerns. Our family loved Goddard. We started our daughter there at 12 weeks. We always felt she was safe and well taken care of. She thrived while at Goddard. We were very impressed with what she brought home after a day of learning. She knew sign language as a baby, she does yoga before bed, can count to 20, and knows her ABC’s at the age of 2. We had to leave Goddard due to relocation but our standards for new Schools are now very high and it’s hard to compare any other school to Goddard.

They have been amazing to our family since putting Our daughter in there program! The staff has been so understanding to our daughter who has special needs. We couldn’t be more thankful.

Goddard is a wonderful school! The office staff is always friendly and welcoming! My child looks forward to seeing her teachers Rosa and Liana everyday! Goddard is the best school in Henderson. My wife and I looked at many schools for our infant and Goddard out ranked them all. They start their curriculum day one. Our child loves going to school there. We feel comfortable leaving our child with them during the day. I know she is very safe and loved while we are at work. I would not choose any other school to take my child. We LOVE Goddard!

Love the attention from the teachers and all the staff! Most of the staff and other teachers know my baby. I get prompt answers when I ask questions via the school app. I get sufficiently detailed reports about my baby's day. Most importantly my baby is so happy when we get to school and is smiling at pickup time.

I was initially drawn to the school by its appearance and proximity to my house. After the tour, I liked that it was so structured and kinder prep focused. After my son started, I really liked his teachers and how they have helped him through so many developmental milestones. They are quick to respond when I have questions and they keep me in the loop when anything happens at school. I like the extracurriculars offered like soccer camp, and the educational assessments that are performed periodically to assess my child’s development in various areas.
