Children's Lighthouse of Forney

Children’s Lighthouse Forney has truly made our baby boy feel at home. He started in the infant room, and his teachers — Lilian, Rosa, and Sahbida — took such wonderful care of him. They followed the schedule we had in place at home and made sure he was fed his breast milk and homemade purées right on time.

Transitioning to daycare can be scary, but their team made us feel safe, supported, and completely at ease. By the time we moved out of the infant room, they felt like family.

He still attends and absolutely loves his current teachers — Natalia, Aaliyah, Latoya, and Ana. The entire staff knows him by name and greets him warmly each day. He comes home with new skills, new songs, and new words, and it’s so special to see how much he’s learning and growing.

Honestly more of a school than just a daycare. My child has shown new understandings of the lessons they are taught. They are attentive, help with potty training, and learning multiple languages.

Children’s Lighthouse of Forney has been an amazing experience for my daughter. The staff is incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, and it truly shows in how comfortable and confident she is there. She’s learning all the essential Pre-K skills and catches on very quickly, which makes me feel confident she’s well prepared and supported.

My daughter loves going to school and her class, her teachers are so wonderful and welcoming to her and even her friends. They work on so much with her, she is always so excited to come home and tell us about her day and what she did. The app is also great, they keep updates through the day. We are so happy with the progress she has made at the lighthouse.

After abruptly pulling our son from a school close by because the teachers were immature in their attitudes when handling kids, we were traumatized. We enrolled him at Children’s Lighthouse instead and after months of being part of this scholastic community we can confirm that this was the best decision for our son.

The building is always clean and secure. The staff are employed there because that’s where they want to be; they aren’t just there because they need jobs. There is a clear curriculum of what the kids will learn and they definitely do learn…my son surprises me every day with something new he has learned. We just enrolled our newborn as well!

Overall, we hope we never have to leave the area mainly because we love our sons’ school!

I have found the daycare to always be clean and well-maintained. The staff to children ratio is impressive. Security is top notch and the front desk is as friendly as they come. I would recommend the daycare to anyone.

Initially, I was a bit nervous about switching from his previous daycare, but I’m so impressed with the teachers and the front desk staff. Everyone is so friendly, and you can really feel the love and care they have for the kids. Compared to other daycares, this one definitely stands out. Plus, it always smells great when you walk in, which is a big plus! My son is not only learning so much, but he’s also picking up Spanish and comes home saying all sorts of new words and phrases. Lighthouse has been absolutely amazing to me and my child. He has progressed and learned so much in the short amount of time being here. I appreciate all the hard work that everyone puts in daily.

I really can’t begin to explain how appreciative I am of Children’s Lighthouse of Forney- My son started going here when he was a year old and now I have 2 more kiddos enrolled here. They love it so much, and get excited to go to play. I’d recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking to put their children into pre-k for the first time, the teachers are extremely patient and caring. They work so hard everyday taking care of our children. Ms. Zoubida, Ms. Judy, Ms. Anna, Ms. Aaliyah, Ms. Lizzie and Ms. Rachael are just a few of the teachers my kids love and feel safe with. I know I’m forgetting other teachers I see there that I’ve forgotten the names of, but honestly all of them are so fantastic. The director is also extremely nice and makes you feel welcomed. My son has been attending here for more than 6 months and has been loving it, from being fully potty trained to learning many things like colors, alphabet and many more Ms. Azariah and Ms. Lisa are great teachers to my son.

The curriculum at CLF is what brought us here when we moved from Alabama. I appreciate the children's exposure to Spanish. Ms. Andrea (Ms. A) and Ms. Tammy were both fantastic teachers for our future Kindergartener.

This is an updated review because of the kindness and generosity of CLF. We were in a financially tough spot when I did my first review and it seemed like the cost for care was expensive. A lot has changed in the two years we were in Alabama. You get what you pay for and this place is absolutely worth every penny.

We absolutely love Children's Lighthouse in Forney and everything they do for our daughter. It’s so obvious how much the staff genuinely care about her, they truly love her and treat her like one of their own. They’ve been amazing about working with us on all her needs, always taking the time to listen and support both her and our family.

When it came time for her to transition to a new class, they went above and beyond to make it smooth and stress-free. Their patience, guidance, and encouragement made such a difference for her and us! We feel so lucky to have found a place where she is happy, thriving, and surrounded by people who genuinely care.

My 3 year old has only been at Lighthouse for 6 months and absolutely LOVES it! He is excited to go and in a great mood even on his bad days when I pick him up. He can be a little much but the staff here have had such patience with him and from what I can tell have handled any and every situation with care and empathy. He has progressed so much in the short amount of time with the preschool curriculum it’s amazing. Highly recommend!

My son started here a few weeks ago and it has been a great experience so far. I love the daily communication throughout the app and having the ability to stay connected. It’s refreshing to know your little one is in great care.
