The Cazadero Steakhouse

Not only was our food great (hats off to the chef ) but our server was very authentic. & I appreciate a very honest person & I even more appreciate good gestures especially considering we didn’t Ask for anything except not to be charged for said item (read the story)
My friend asked for ham with her omelet but when the omelet came it came without ham in it. She wasnt bothered by this as it’s was just something she wanted added but ya know isn’t end of the world /make me a new one type of deal. She told the server (sorry I don’t know your name) about the mistake but she didn’t want him to remake it she just didn’t want it to be charged as it was extra. He immediately was 100% sincere in his apology to us(if I recall correctly he forgot to add it to the ticket ) & offered to make it better with dessert or drink (which was a nice gesture in its self) but we told him we just didn’t want to be charged & no worries. He went on his way & the next time he came back to take our plates he apologized AGAIN, this is how you know someone takes their job seriously. We told him we appreciated his apologies. I gave him my card to complete our time there & he came back with our bill and their was a discount for that omelet , keep in mind we never asked for anything. So I paid & tipped 15 (for a 19$).
Here’s why, it’s very rare to find someone who’s not only 100% Sincere in their apology but also tried to make it better in more ways than one and not because he had to but because he legit wanted to.I honestly appreciate this admirable behavior. It doesn’t happen often enough.
