The Cazadero Steakhouse

Really liked this casual dining place and bar. Lots to choose from on the menu. Prime rib sandwich is delicious. Service was great. Staff very friendly PLUS views of the Clackamas River. We will be dining there more

The bartender was nice and fast. Had the elk burger which was great and the truffle fries were excellent.

What a great view of the river top gun service food fantastic and absolutely not overpriced first time there now I will always be back and to think I drove past it too many times and never stopped what a mistake that was

Garlic sautéed Prawns is my favorite. Excellent & unique side options. Everything made from scratch. I tried the cream of Asparaus soup, & Spatzle. I loved both of them.
Steaks are better than anywhere else I've been locally.
We like to sit next to the windows in bar & watch the river. Sometimes the bald eagles are are fishing while we eat.
Servers are genuine, & want you to have everything you need.
Sometimes they are too busy for the number of people they are serving, but that seems to be the norm anymore.

We both had versions of the Elk burger.

Julie had a build your own version so she could have it without bacon and ham which turns her stomach. My Elk burger I had with no cheese. We didn't know our order of onion rings would be sprinkled with cheese. I shook off what I could. They were delicious, we both enjoyed them.

I forgot to ask for my garden salad without cheese which I picked cheese out what I could. I had to eat my thin sliced bacon and ham before I could fit the burger in my mouth since thick burger with egg on top, over hard with it's unique pretzel bun.

Our caution didn't pay off as Julie could taste some pork on elk burger which we should have explained to our server all our sensitivities. I am sure they could have helped us avoid our discomforts as Julie had to take a remedy on our way home from Estacada to Salem to reduce her...

Very Good place to eat, great Atmosphere & Service. Double check your Reservations with Cazadero. Sometimes the Reservations does not get relayed to the next shift.

I didn't get the young girl's name but our waitress was outstanding.
The prime rib was so juicy and the smokey flavor was a delight to our taste buds. Along with a baked potato (loaded, of course), and green beans sauteed with some oil and pecans.
Everything was amazing including the company

This was one of the best prime ribs my husband and I have ever had. The service was outstanding. We came from Clackamas area and it was worth the drive. We will be back for sure we highly recommend this restaurant. We got a side salad prime rib and 2 sides. I got the fully loaded bake potato and green beans my husband got the fully loaded bake potato and amazing home made Mac and cheese

Great service, food is always good, beautiful view. Gotta have the carrot cake!
