I had an awesome appointment with Michael here. He did an excellent job with my hair and was very accommodating and responsive to my request. Michael was also very engaging and answered all my questions. Overall, I really recommend him and the store for the extraordinary service they have given me.

Michael Mallory is my stylist. I have been using him twice a month for well over 2 years now. Many superlatives can be used to describe Michael’s talents but to keep it on point I’ll just say he is the BEST in Houston! He has techniques that he incorporates which are unique. His eye for detail is exquisite. Michael is also a professional photographer which carries over to his vision for excellence. If you are looking for a true artist, then I highly recommend you book an appointment and see for yourself the same experience I’ve encountered with Michael. Daniel made sure my very first hair salon experience was amazing! The target hair color I was looking to achieve was dark blue. Given that I have black brown hair, bleaching was necessary. The process took 5 hours, but it was a very pleasant experience. Had a great conversation with Daniel the entire time. He had severe allergies that day, but he was a trooper and did an amazing job. I have received several compliments of the hair color. I am very satisfied with this experience at ML2. I will definitely return for trim and color with Daniel. Thank you for all of your hard work!

Update: 4 weeks later. Blue hair is hard to upkeep. Though the color faded quick, Daniel was kind enough to recolor it back. Second time around, the color is deep and beautiful. Thank you again! Will be back!

I haven't had my hair cut in over 2 years and coming into ML2 I was very nervous since I've had long hair for a long time, I didn't know what would look well with me.
I brought some pictures to show to the stylist and Rick (absolute god send of a man) guided me through all his thoughts on what would and wouldn't work with my hair type, I naturally have thinner hair. Rick taught me about styling, how to use hair product, and he was also great to joke around with. If you're making big changes to your hair, don't feel afraid to ask and ask because Rick ( and ML2 as a whole ) is always patient and here to make sure you have a good experience.
Absolutely would recommend and I do plan to come back!

I had the balayage here, Hardy ( and the team ) did an amazing job!!! My hair color was sooo pretty and fit with my skin tone. He was very careful and explained every step he did to make sure to get the best experience. I let Hardy decide my hair color after the consultation, and it ended up great. It made me feel more confident with my hair color. I will come whenever I need my hair done. Definitely recommend!

I love this salon! Hair dresser Mr. Ming Li is an artist with hair styling. I have short hair and he is the best stylist I've encountered in my life. He won't settle for less than perfection!
I trust whatever he does with my hair. He speaks very good English so there's no problem communicating what I want done.
While in his chair it's like seeing an artist at work!!

Ever since pandemic, I haven't cut or styled my hair in a long time and decided to try something completely new (Korean Wavy Perm with see-through bangs). Of course I had to go to my trustworthy salon here at ML2 which is also where my go-to hairstylist, James' at. I like to be prepared so I showed James a picture of exactly what type of style I'm trying to go for and he did exactly that! I absolutely loved it!! He's always so professional with the knowledge of different hairstyles, would 100% recommend James if you ever get a chance to go to ML2!

Lillian is great! Great prices and amazing value. They do require you still wear a mask which is annoying but i understand.

I am very satisfied with my Japanese straight perm done at this place. My hair used to be dry curly, fuzzy, and has hair split at tip. After I had it done, all of my co workers notice my hair is much healthier and they love my sassy hair. It’s worth the time and money to have it done. It’s easy to take of, all you need to do is wash n blow dry that is all. With my busy life as a mother of 3 young boys, it has not only save me a lot time in the morning but also the styles make me look younger. I highly recommend this place. Good service go by appointment no wait time needed, and most importantly the price is reasonable.
