The lobby of the hotel was nice. Our hotel room was very dated. There was a smell in our room. I’m not sure how to describe it; maybe musty. There was no hot water in the morning when taking showers. I would describe it as lukewarm at best. The price we paid for this hotel was way too much, but we booked last minute and there was nothing else available. My husband and I only stayed one night and it worked for the purpose to have a place to sleep. I would not have stayed here with my children though. We also will not stay at this hotel in the future.

This straightforward budget hotel off Interstate 35 is a 4-minute drive to Clear Lake for boating and fishing and a 6-minute drive from Surf Ballroom and Museum, a historic rock-and-roll landmark. The rooms include en suite bathrooms, TVs with cable or satellite channels and coffeemakers. There's free WiFi in every room and kids 17 and under stay free with an adult.
