SPEECH TACTICS

We have a three year old son who was experiencing expressive language delay around two years old. After receiving an assessment and plan from another provider, then attending treatment, we were unhappy with the progress and therapists so we stopped treatment. We were a little reluctant to try another provider. However, I called Speech Tactics and set up the evaluation. Laura Gencarella was the therapist who evaluated our son. We were instantly impressed with her knowledge, her ability to manage our son, and her sweet personality. On our first meeting, she assured us our son was a great candidate and would absolutely benefit from the treatment. Laura treated our son from Spring 2017 - September 2017. I'm happy and proud to say his speech development is exactly where it should be at age 3! Laura also felt our son would benefit from occupational therapy. Amanda Cadena performed an OT evaluation, we were just as quickly impressed with Amanda's knowledge and warm personality. Amanda recommended our son work with OT, Melissa Austin. We've been seeing Melissa since Spring 2017 as well. Our son (and I) absolutely adore Melissa and look forward to his appointments. But more importantly, we are seeing results. Melissa works on his reflexes, core stability, starting/completing tasks and staying focused. Additionally, Melissa has been such a wonderful resource in terms of understanding occupational therapy and toddlers! We're very thankful for the passionate, results driven therapists at Speech Tactics! We could not be happier with our experience here!
