Special Beginnings Early Learning Center -Olathe

My son went to the Special Beginnings/Cadence Education from 2020-2025. He has the most exceptional teachers and staff. Form Mrs. Rosa and Mrs. Darrisha to Mrs. Robina, Mrs. Sara, Mrs. Barbara and all the staff that work there! I want to give so much praise.

From the very first day, the staff made us feel like family—warm, caring, and genuinely invested in each child's growth and happiness. The learning environment was nurturing and stimulating, perfectly balancing fun and education. Over the years, I watched my son flourish socially, emotionally, and academically, thanks to the dedicated teachers and their individualized approach. Even during COIVD, and snow days when most places were closed they remained open and available!

My son started at Special Beginnings at 8 weeks old and we can't say enough about the staff there. We were impressed from the start with the caring staff and as he progressed through to Preschool, Ms. Maria in Pre-4 and Ms. Rochelle in Pre-K have a well built curriculum that builds on each other to more than prepare the kids for Kindergarten. While making learning fun and instilling a love of learning, my son is excelling in reading and math thanks to the basic foundation he received from these wonderful teachers.

Our kids love attending Special Beginnings. We love that they are a faith based daycare that teaches the kids how to pray and allows them to celebrate religious holidays. All of the teachers take the time to get to know each kid. It really has a community/family feel! They have really neat playgrounds outside for all the different age groups, and they feed the kids great snacks and lunches during the day. I would recommend this daycare to family and friends!

We LOVE SB. Our son has been going for 2 years and we have been so happy with his care. From safety to curriculum we know he’s in good hands every day. I am so happy we found SB and can’t recommend them enough!

Being a first time mom, I anticipated sending my son to daycare. From day one, my nerves quickly dissipated as I discovered what wonderful care my son received. We love Special Beginnings in Olathe. The time our children spent there was amazing. Great caring teachers and I knew they were loved and encouraged to learn and be themselves. All the staff at SB were like family and I couldn’t recommend a better daycare/preschool.

Everyone is very affectionate and attentive

The teachers at SB are very caring and I believe genuinely love the kiddos. The facility itself is a bit dated, I wish the rooms are a little bigger for the kiddos. They now have Procare to update parents on the kiddos which has been incredible for us parents to see how our kids are doing throughout the day. The director is also very responsive and is easy to get a hold of if needed.

We’ve been going to Special Beginnings for four years now and have three children there. Our kids love it and they have so many friends there. Best part is that I know my children are safe and well taken care of by the staff.

We have both our boys at SB and it is wonderful. Their app keeps us up with their daily routine from meals to activities and the staff is always so friendly. 100% recomended for any families needing care.

We have been part of special beginning for 2 years, we love the school and the staff, But the most importantly,our kids love it there. They learn new things everyday, more then we would have imagined,We couldn't be happier with our decision for child care and allowing Sarah, Tree, Robbine, Barbara, Rosa and all the teachers to be a huge part of our children's lives.

Excellent day care center! Teachers are always very courteous and nice. The day care always keeps me well informed of the daily activities and meals.

We've used SB Olathe since our girl was 16 weeks old and have loved every day! Prior to this, our son went to SB Lenexa, and we had the same fabulous experience there. The same is communicative and loving, and with the new Procare system we get updates and pictures daily, and can message the staff with any questions or concerns. We wouldn't change our daycare choice for anything!
