David's communication was flawless from beginning to end - he's incredibly responsive, knowledgable and helped me build a custom menu for a 12-person bachelorette party. Our chef, Jason, was the absolute best. He arrived early, was very friendly, and cooked an incredible 3-course meal (including 2 appetizers and 2 entrees plus dessert, with a vegetarian option for one of our guests). From the moment I reached out to David, everything was a seamless process. Building the menu and communicating with him was such a pleasant experience..... AND THEN THE DINNER HAPPENED AND IT GOT EVEN BETTER! We had Chef Norma who handled a rowdy group of girls with grace and kindness. Truly Top Tier! I am still finding it hard to believe how incredible a job David and his team executed my 16 person fine dining dinner party. From the beginning stages of planning, David was professional and responsive to all my questions and requests and together we came up with the perfect menu and plan. The day of the event the entire team showed up on time, and went straight to work prepping for guests to arrive. They were even so kind to help me complete some last minute table set up. We planned for a 5 course dinner service and a bartender to serve signature drinks. As my guests arrived they were greeted with a drink and once dinner service began EVERY SINGLE COURSE THAT CAME OUT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Chef Norma and Kati did an absolutely phenomenal job. Norma's brunch was absolutely incredible, made quickly, and the kitchen was left perfectly clean upon departure, while the bartender ensured drinks were full and set up the tablescapes absolutely beautifully. They were both extremely friendly and accommodating, even while I asked for a last minute adjustment to how something was made based on some guests' preferences.

SoFlo Chefs prepared an absolutely spectacular Latin Spice meal for me and 20 guests. They arrived promptly, were very professional, and the food was out of this world! The flavors mingled perfectly and they used top quality ingredients. All the guests raved about the most delicious fresh ceviche, melt in your mouth pork tenderloin, the firm but flaky and succulent red snapper, the lechon in plantain cups bursting with flavor, the creamy, smooth flan. Working with David and his team was an absolute pleasure! He did 3 events in a 4 day period and everything was terrific! From Davids initial introduction to our final fair well, David and his team was a dream to work with! Unreal experience! We used David as our private chef on New Year’s Eve. He cooked such delicious appetizers and entrees for 11 of us on a boat. He was very communicative, accommodating to our menu preferences, VERY aware of allergies and made substitutions accordingly, clean, attentive and the food was outstanding. Our family was so pleased! SoFlo Chefs is one of the best caterers in Miami! I have been graced to attend many events where they were the caterers. My earliest memory of SoFlo Chefs was in 2018 I believe having their chocolate cake at a baby shower (mind you I hate chocolate cake). When I tell you that was the best cake I've ever had!!! The last time I used them was this year for my birthday. My guests were over the moon with the food and service that was provided. I had a disappointing experience with SofloChefs when I decided to cancel an event within the designated timeframe, as per our contract. Despite following the proper procedures, SofloChefs not only refused to refund my deposit but also ceased all communication once the refund was requested. It's worth noting that our contract clearly stipulates a full refund of the deposit if the cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event. Frustrated with the lack of response, I had to resort to disputing the charge with my credit card company. Fortunately, I succeeded in the dispute, and the credit card company refunded my deposit. Regrettably, based on this unsatisfactory encounter and the apparent deviation from our contract, I cannot recommend SofloChefs to others. Read more >

We had a wonderful dinner prepared by Chef David for my birthday. He took care of everything!! He cooked and cleaned. I mixed and matched food items from different menus and he was able to accommodate my request for 2 appetizers instead of an app and a dessert (I already had a birthday cake). He is personable and this was such a treat to have a chef cook for me in my home. Everyone loved it! Hopefully we will get to enjoy another meal one day. Absolutely terrible experience with them. We purchased a more elevated package and our menu was changed [to things the bride did no like at all ] and we were not provided a table scape at all which we paid extra for. We had also booked them for a brunch next morning and the same thing happened where we were not provided with some of the food we had confirmed and we paid extra for them to bring plates and we had to use our own plates. I was owed over $100 from them after we changed to the less expressive plates and never got it and when asked about getting money back for them messing up plus the money we are owed we were IGNORED in 4 follow up emails. If you want to be ripped off go ahead and book them otherwise don’t bother. I not have to go through the complaints with my bank due to them being unresponsive and me being owed money.
