Candace is the BOMB! We had Dr.Pepper ribs, yes they are amazing! Birria Tacos! We also had the special Birria beef and noodles and holy crap, it should be a regular menu item, I would get it everytime! This is my 5th time here and everytime I have stellar service and amazing food! Get this place a 5 star! I love the 70’s theme and the classic rock that’s always playing! It’s truly a good ass restaurant all around!

I love exploring BBQ whenever I travel. Smokin Fattys has been a fantastic experience. The food was incredible, our service from Sonja was fantastic and the atmosphere makes me want to come back weekly (but I can’t because I live across country). Check it out!

We took our grandkids to lunch today to celebrate their great report cards. As always, the food was fantastic and our server Kenzie was attentive, friendly and fun. She let 6 yr old Max do a silly prank on her 😊 Since we did this at report card time last year also, the kids decided this would be our tradition.

First time in Illinois and decided to stop at this location. Mostly because I’m a fatty and the name fit so well. Quick service for seating and food. Truly was surprised. Our waiter, Sonia, was knowledgeable and down to earth. She knew the menu well and even gave us her favorites.. she did not lie because that food was so GOOD! Sonia, Thank you for the great conversation and professionalism! Definitely will come back! 10/10 recommend!

Sonia was super friendly and helpful! She recommended her favorites and could give us descriptions of any options we had questions about. The taco bout it salad was huge and so tasty. A must if you are in the Elkhart area.

Our server was Sonia and she was amazing. Very attentive and personable. It was our first time visiting and I felt that she went above and beyond for us. The food was amazing and the drinks were very tasty. Highly reccomend. 🥰 we'll be back soon! 10/10

My fiancee and I came here for our anniversary on Halloween and it was amazing. Food was great wasn't busy at all. We will definitely be coming here again.

It was the first time our group visited this establishment. We have been to Chubby Trout several times but decided to try Smokin Fattys. The food was very good but the service was amazing. Sonja made everyone of us feel at home and welcomed. She answered every question we had and was so patient with all of us ordering. She was really knowledgeable about the menu and provided us with really great service. Our group left the restaurant happy and full! Thank you Sonja for making it such a great experience.

Got the birria tacos, and they were delicious. Kenzie was my server, and she took care of everything from helping me narrow down my meal choice to making sure I always had a full drink. I will definitely be back when I'm in town again.

Sonja and Janet were awesome. They were always making sure I was in good shape on food and beverage. Only gave a 4 star on atmosphere because it’s not fancy. Perfect for me sitting at the bar with multiple TV’s to watch.

Had the half slab of ribs it' had like a cherry taste on it which was very different for me in a good way but I was kinda looking for the smoke flavor and couldn't find it overall I give this place a 4 Star rating
