Loving Start Learning Center

Our son has attended Loving Start Learning Center for the past four years, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible care, fun, and support he has received.

One of the things we appreciate most is the school’s emphasis on sensory learning and free play. The curriculum creates a wonderful balance of structured learning and hands-on exploration, allowing children to develop confidence, creativity, and important social skills in a nurturing environment.

A special thank you to Ms. Mackenzie, who is truly exceptional. She treats every child like family and creates an environment where children feel safe, loved, and encouraged to be themselves. Her kindness, patience, and genuine passion for early childhood education shine through every day.

My child has been attending Loving Start Learning Center for almost four months now and we couldn’t be happier. Ms. Olive and Ms. Kaylah are absolutely amazing. My child is always excited to go to school and talks nonstop about how much they love their teachers and the friends they’ve made there.

The school has a wonderful playground and I love that they spend so much time outside playing and exploring. The number of creative art projects my child brings home is incredible, and it’s clear the teachers put a lot of thought and care into engaging activities.

The facility feels very safe and secure with a locked gate and entry code system that gives me peace of mind. The staff is always friendly and responsive, and the tuition is very reasonable for the quality of care and education provided.

It's a 10-star preschool. We moved to Auburn a year ago and heard that it was "the best". We showed up at 5am in February to get in line to register, and I wondered if it would live up to the hype. It absolutely has! Our daughter has attended for almost a year in the Discoverers class and she has loved it.
We had our kids in another preschool previous to this, and although that one is a great preschool too, Loving Start easily exceeds it in nearly every way.
Our daughter had Miss Mackenzie and Miss Emma this year -- it is hard to imagine a better duo of preschool teachers, but I know the other teachers are great too. I'm always amazed at all they do each week, from comprehensive lesson plans, to endless art projects, to teaching them reading/writing/math/etc, to coming up with fun games to play together, to taking photos of everything and sharing them with us....

I have been dropping my youngest off here for two years now. I am very comfortable with the entire staff at Smart Start. My son learns so much every day and has made many friends. The location and safety measures that Smart Start has in place are all very comforting. They are very community oriented as well. I drive from Meadow Vista to bring my son here, we will be sad to go when he moves on to kindergarten at our local public school. I highly recommend Smart Start to any family looking for the best pre-school for your child that will help them grow.

All three of my children have attended Smart Start Auburn since 2017 and we have never had any issues. Our kids love it there and the staff and teachers are one of a kind. In fact, my kids tend to cry when I pick them because they don’t want to leave! It’s extremely comforting to know my babies are in good hands! Highly recommend this school to everyone. 10/10!

Both of my sons have attended the Smart Start in Auburn location. The staff truly cares about the well being and development of the children, it isn't just a place to drop off the kids to be watched. We've made some friends for the kiddos and with the staff and parents that were fostered by their inclusive atmosphere.

The school grounds are safe and secure, and the children have plenty of outdoor (fenced) play areas to burn off steam. Highest recommendation.

Absolutely LOVE Smart Start Preschool (and so does my child)! He chats my ear off everyday after school telling me about all the fun he had. My only regret is that we didn't start sooner. Super cute, clean, and organized classrooms. Amazing, caring teachers and director. Great outdoor space for the kids where they have plenty of room to run around and explore. I get lots of cool artwork to put on my fridge daily. My child is learning and thriving at Smart Start. Can't say enough good things!

I couldn’t have been happier with Smart Start! I have been sending my boys here for the past 4 years and am sad this is my last year. The teachers are amazing and the environment is safe and nourishing! Highly recommend!

We LOVE Smart Start. I feel so safe sending my kids to school every day. We go to the Auburn location and I couldn't be more grateful to the staff and the teachers. You can tell that everyone really cares about the kids. 5 starts 10/10. I love this school so much!

We moved into this area 1 1/2years ago looking for a space where our child could be outdoors. This place is fabulous! Our daughters love their time spent at Smart Start. They love their teachers and all of the fun activities. Kids get to spend a lot of time outdoors, which is very important to our family. Each class has a wide variety of fun, creative and educational activities. Highly recommend!

We LOVE Smart Start because our son started going there at age 2 and was very shy but now he is so comfortable there that he just walks right in at drop off. All of the teachers and staff know him personally and have helped him grow into a smart, confident and adventurous 4 year old. We are so sad to be in our final year at our school! I highly recommend Smart Start for anyone looking to send their child to a place where they are safe and nurtured all year long!

Smart Start offers children a place to go every day where they can learn and still have fun. Ms Devi is an awesome teacher. My grandson loves going there.

Ms. Devi in the Imagineers class always goes above and beyond to make sure my son is happy and feels safe. She is patient and even takes the time to interact with my older children whenever they are around. My son loves going to school because of her and the other teachers and we are so grateful for that.

We absolutely love Mrs. Alexis! She has been such a wonderful teacher. She is constantly doing fun projects with the kids. We love the art projects he brings home. They get to make and eat tasty treats! We feel so blessed to have her as our son's teacher!

I have sent both my kids to Smart Start and it is such a wonderful and safe place to leave my kids. Everyday Ms Devi starts my sons day with comfort and a smile by greeting him with a hug. He loves it there and comes home everyday with a new skill and fun stories about his day.

I’m so grateful for everyone at Smart Start, but especially for Ms. Devi. She is patient with our children, modeling kindness and respect in the ways she interacts with each of her students. I know my son leaves her class feeling loved and appreciated, and is learning how to be a good friend to others every day.

I have had at least one of my kids at Smart Start Auburn since 2019. I cannot say enough about this school. The teachers are all amazing and care about the kids so much. My oldest was very well prepared for kindergarten and learned much more than I ever expected at a preschool. The kids spend a lot of time playing outside and exploring. I will miss this school when my kids have outgrown it.

Smart Start has been a wonderful place for our children to learn and grow. The teachers are loving and attentive, providing a warm and safe environment for our kids to play. We've been fortunate enough to experience three different classrooms and each one has been absolutely incredible. Our soon is in the Imagineers classroom with Ms. Devi and Ms. Juliah this year. We could not be happier with the learning opportubities they provide. Our son loves going to school and he adores his teachers. As parents, it's all we could ask for. We feel fortunate to have found Smart Start.

Both my boys have attended Smart Start. All the teachers go above and beyond, I love how much outdoor play they get, my boys always coming home in the best moods. Ms. Shannah, Ms. Alexis, Ms. Melissa, Ms. Sara and Ms. Devi left a big impression on me and my boys love them all,

My daughter attended Smart Start and it was a really wonderful experience. The teachers are so kind and I can tell they really love the kids. My daughter’s favorite teacher was Ms Alexis. She was very welcoming and made each child feel special. Their classroom was so bright and cheerful. Ms Alexis brought the kids unique items that really encouraged imagination play. The kids had a globe, an old espresso machine (they loved playing barista!), and they would listen to music from around the world while they did arts and crafts. Ms. Alexis even wrote a very special and unique haiku about each child when they graduated. I definitely recommend the Smart Start preschool program.

We had such a wonderful experience at Smart Start. We were a little leery to enroll because of an unpleasant experience we had at a corporate daycare. The campus is very conveniently located, very cute and secure. The classrooms were always clean and smelled pleasant.
That being said, the best part Smart Start was the staff. Our sons teacher Ms. Alexis is fun, creative, musical, spontaneous, funny, and just wonderful. She was excellent at communicating daily about my sons day. Plus would post pictures and relay any funny or interesting stories from his day at school. She always had fun super creative activities for them and silly songs she would sing to them. My son seriously loved being in her class and would look forward to going every day. All the ‘afternoon’ staff was also just as pleasant and always had something to tell me about my sons day which after being away from him...

Smart Start is full of love from the staff, creative learning and fun with friends. Best Preschool EVER!!
