I am so grateful to Simon's Shine Shop! I purchased a used Prius from CarMax, and the first time I used the AC, cigarette smell blasted all over the place. The odor was so strong that my clothes and hair smelled like cigarettes all day, even after just a short drive. Thanks, previous owner! I did some work myself, replacing my cabin air filter and putting deodorizer through the vents, but the smell was baked into the upholstery.

Simon's took the car overnight for an interior detail and returned it to me with the smell removed. I've had friends comment that the interior looks brand new, even though my car was used and abused. I've been recommending Simon's ever since, as cigarette odor is not a small or easy job. Read more >

I only take my car here for interior detailing. I've tried a couple of places before but Simon's returns the car to me in great condition and ready for another season. One point is that if you want to have the detailing done in 1 day, go for the earliest appt. I had booked for a 1230 appt and could not pick up the car until the next day, which meant 2 extra trips getting home and then back to the shop. Otherwise, the work is great and so I'll continue to bring my car here until it isn't. I've only had the interior detailing service here. Read more >

My review is overdue as I’ve been going to Simon’s for over 15 years. Our household brought three cars here during that time, and the service that Simon’s provides always exceeds expectations. From the professionalism and warm reception by the lead attendant including managers Christina and Melissa, to the smooth handoff delivery of my car by one of the detailing experts, I can always rely on the entire team to return my car to me as if I’m leaving a new car showroom.

I finally signed up for a membership a few years ago after returning to Chicago and bring my car in routinely. The waiting area is bright, calm, clean, and light refreshments are available. My car is always returned to me completely wiped down, interior shampooed and vacuumed, and air freshener applied.
