I am a first time home buyer and today I had my home inspection. Roger was on time and prepared to answer any questions I had. I was able to follow him around the home and he educated me about the home and things that needed fixing or would need updating. Cathy did the inspection. It was the best $650 I spent. She was very thorough and did not leave any details. She explained her concerns about any potential hazard, malfunction or place for improvement, and she gave elaborate recommendations and advice. I ended up not buying the house and I don’t regret the process, now I feel more equipped at selecting the house I like, and the things I need to pay attention to.

Cathy, our inspector from Sherwood Inspection Services, meticulously inspected every inch of our potential future house. After many findings, Cathy explained each issue in detail, as well as the severity and estimated costs of the repairs.

We will definitely be requesting Cathy for our next inspection, as she has already saved us from moving into a house with severe structural damage due to termites and wood rot.

Jeremy from Sherwood Inspection Services was great he did a thorough review of the house. The written report was very easy to understand and had the summary of findings presented prior to the details.

He spent the time needed to thoroughly review the home and took the time to explain his findings. He was very professional and was punctual. If needed again we would absolutely use Sherwood again.

This was hands down the best inspection service I have ever used. They were kind and helpful over the phone when making and adjusting the appointment time. The inspector himself was very professional and educational as he was conducting the inspection. I received the report the next day, and a repair estimate the day after that. The inspection documents are PHENOMENAL. They are easy to read, well organized, and informative. I highly recommend this company for all your inspection needs!

What a great experience. Paul was early (we were not) and did an extremely thorough job. He went through every part of the house, answered all of our questions, and explained everything to us. Because of their hard work, we were able to negotiate repairs that needed to be done that saved us thousands of dollars!

He took extra time and care to explain everything to us, and give us guidance as first time home buyers (and newlyweds!). Sherwood Inspection Services was great. Chris, our inspector, was very thorough, and explained everything as we went along. He explained important features of the house to me, and was willing to answer any questions that I had. The report he provided was great. It lists the findings that were considered the most critical first, and then provided a detailed description and picture of the other findings on the property. Sherwood was great. I would recommend them to anyone needing a home inspection.
