This was the first time I used Sherwood for our home inspection services. We had Eric for our inspector, he was very through, answered all our questions in great detail. He provided us with a detailed report and made himself available to answer any additional questions. I will definitely be using Sherwood for future inspection needs and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for these services.

Home inspectors from this company twice did amazing jobs. First inspection discovered structural damage to foundation and saved us from buying a house that would have needed $150,000 worth of work (or a teardown). Second inspection on another home, the inspector went quick and was super thorough. Answered questions with informed and simple responses. Best of all - friendly to the cats in the house! Can't say enough good things about this company. Amazing.

Home Inspection

This is the second time I've used Sherwood Inspection Services when buying a new home, and they do not disappoint. The inspectors are thorough, patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Alex walked us through the property, explaining the process with clarity, answering all of our questions, and educating us on what is a lovely 120+ year old home. My partner and I left the inspection confident that we would be making the right choice for us. Sherwood Inspection Services is worth every penny.

SIS performed a home inspection for us as part of the purchasing process. The folks at the office who answered my call were very professional and courteous; they followed up with an email quote quickly. I was impressed at how when I called back later and spoke to someone else, she was able to pull up my information. I'm assuming they're using client management software, which is awesome. Anyway, the inspector showed up on time and was very professional, personable, and thorough. He answered our follow-up questions promptly in the following days. From what I gather, SIS charges above the industry average for inspections but it was totally worth it to have such a headache-free experience.

Kyle came out to our property under contract to inspect the structure of the home. He arrived early to check out the exterior of the home and did a thorough job of explaining his findings and the proposed recommendations to fix the issues he found. I will add we went under contract on a Friday and they were able to accommodate an inspection the following Monday. They gave me a call back on Easter to confirm my appointment for the following day. Would definitely use them again!

I was lucky enough to work with the owner for my inspection, and he was the best. Very friendly, professional, and took the time to teach us what he was testing for. We were even provided excellent references to get the issues addressed. Could not be happier!

I am a first time home buyer and Eric, my inspector, was very informative. He walked through the home and showed me everything step-by-step From small items to large items he showed me what to look for and how I would fix these items if need be. He was very patient and thorough and had no problem answering any question I had. I recommend using SIS for any of your home inspection needs. The first time I called for quotes I was greeted by an employee who was very kind, professional and thoroughly explained the processes they planned to use for the home inspection. He took the time to ask if I was a first-time homebuyer and then proceeded to congratulate me. After speaking with him I felt silly choosing the other companies I got quotes from though they were a little bit cheaper($20-$40 difference). I was able to schedule an appointment easily after that call because my information was saved. I was also able to call and change my plan multiple times without penalty or being made to feel like a burden. The employee who did the inspection was early, very focused, and professional.
