From start to finish was super easy. Called on tuesday and they had my inspection scheduled 2 days later. The inspector was great took me room by room explaining what he found. Was very detailed. If I ever need another inspection they'll be my first call

We had a wonderful experience during our home inspection. Kathy arrived early and stayed as long as needed to cover every single thing in detail. She was VERY knowledgable and answered my 1000 questions in depth. The report I recieved was very detailed as well and had good quality photos. I would highly recommend Sherwood Inspection Services.

Sherwood inspections were on top of everything. From the moment I signed up with them all the way through the inspection and the follow up afterwards. Chris, my inspector, was courteous and friendly. Chris was thorough and detailed. He explained himself every step of the way and took the time to answer any questions I had. Adam Anderson did a great job going over his findings with me. He reassured me that I could always call/email if I have questions and he whipped the inspection report up the same day! It was thorough and specific. The pictures he took were great and told the story even though the homeowner had storage items all over the place and certain areas were tough to get to. He took his time and got me all the information I needed. This is the 2nd time I’ve used Sherwood (Maria Dudley did my previous inspection and she was thorough too) and both times were exceptional. Thanks again!

I did a Google search and found this company. We had Alex, he showed up early which was incredible. Normally I experience people being late so it was awesome that he was punctual and ready to go. He was very friendly, comfortable to be around and helpful with explaining every inch of the house after his inspection. We are moving my elderly parents into our neighborhood and I wish that he was our home inspector when we bought our house! We received our home inspection within hours, and it was very thorough. I hope to never move again ha ha but I would hire him 100 times.

Their hours and ease of scheduling was great. Cathy started the exterior inspection before we got there and was professional, very knowledgeable and thorough. She answered lots of questions to help us understand the mechanicals since we're new to CT and having a basement. Her report was clear, and the color coding and summary have helped us prioritize repairs. She also did the separate foundation inspection. We are confident in the inspection information and would use them again. Also, it was very nice have water and snacks available that Cathy had nicely laid out.

Kyle with SIS did an excellent job, looked over everything and explained everything to us. We received our report the very same day. Wonderful!

They do a great job. go over everything with you while you are there. They send you the report so you can see everything very quickly. I have used Kyle twice for 2 home inspection & I highly recommend.

For our home inspection we chose SIS and it has been a great experience overall. To begin with their customer service representative was very helpful and provided all the necessary information over call about the inspection items & pricing. We had called up on Friday and they were quick enough of get us an inspection slot for Sunday morning. We got an opportunity to work with Matthew [for Home Inspection] and Cathy [for Foundation inspection] and they were very friendly and transparent in their communication. They explained all possible repairs & upgrade recommendations. They patiently listened to all our questions and provided us with all the information. They also were kind enough to show and explain all the activities they were performing and in fact we learned many things from them during the inspection. The entire process took about 5-5.5 hrs but it was worth it as...

My Sherwood Inspection Services inspector, Kyle, arrive on time and conducted a thorough inspection of the property. He surveyed each area then took me through his findings. The final report was delivered by the end of the day and the radon findings 48 hours later. All reports were thorough and easy to understand. To those reading this review, please make sure you home seller has cleared away their belongings from areas that need to be inspected such as the electrical panel, plumbing, and HVAC. Obstacles may prevent the home inspector's access.

Maria was an amazing inspector. Very intelligent and informal. Gave great insight regarding home and I personally walked away from inspections with plenty of knowledge regarding home upkeep and maintenance methods.

Setting up the inspection was very easy. Matthew was very thorough in his inspection, pointing out possible concerns as well as areas that just need attention. He was happy to answer any questions. The report was received the next day. We are very happy with the service!

Kyle, from Sherwood Inspection Services, arrived early and did all the outside of the house inspection before it was even the appointment time. He was very thorough in his inspection and inspection report. He took the time to explain and answer any questions we had about our house during the inspection.
