Our inspector Chris Benney was great. In the span of a month in fact, we used him twice. The first time, he did a great job finding the issues in the house we offered on, and we were not able to work it out with the sellers. Because of how thorough he was, we knew we wanted him to be the one to inspect the next house we offered on. Both times he was professional, diligent, and trustworthy. As a matter of fact, we needed his services during coronavirus, so we really couldn't follow him around or anything. Sometimes you worry, if you aren't watching that the inspector might not really be looking. Not the case with Chris. We felt comfortable letting him do his thing because it really felt like he was proud of the work he does, and felt like he gave us a detailed report of the house. Cathy did the inspection. It was the best $650 I spent. She was very thorough and did not leave any details. She explained her concerns about any potential hazard, malfunction or place for improvement, and she gave elaborate recommendations and advice. Cathy, our inspector from Sherwood Inspection Services, meticulously inspected every inch of our potential future house. After many findings, Cathy explained each issue in detail, as well as the severity and estimated costs of the repairs.

We will definitely be requesting Cathy for our next inspection, as she has already saved us from moving into a house with severe structural damage due to termites and wood rot.

This was hands down the best inspection service I have ever used. They were kind and helpful over the phone when making and adjusting the appointment time. I had the pleasure of James performing the inspection over the house I am purchasing. From the start James was extremely friendly and courteous, making sure that I was informed about how the inspection process worked.
