Kyle Wicklund conducted a home inspection through Sherwood Inspection Services, LLC. Our inspection cost around $1200 for a 3,100 sqft, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with an unfinished basement and a two car garage. Our appointment was at 8:00 on a Saturday and my wife and I arrived at 7:55. Kyle was already there and working by the time we got there. He greeted us and was very friendly and professional throughout the entire inspection. He would tell us what he was going to inspection (basically broke it down to each floor) then allowed us to look around the house independently while he worked. After he would inspect an area, he would come get me and explain everything he found, what it meant, and the potential impact on me. He wasn't just pointing things out, he was teaching me as well. My inspector was Kyle. Kyle was very safe and knowledgeable. I showed up at the house 20 minutes early, and Kyle was already there. Pays very close attention to detail, and had answers to all my questions. He did his job thoroughly and efficiently. I appreciate his honest and knowledgeable. He made sure things were safe for me to inspect before I physically touched it. Sherwood was the ONLY company that actually got back to me as far as scheduling an inspection. Paul the inspector was amazing. He was very thorough yet completed in a timely manner. He discussed any potential issues with me and my realtor as he noticed them. His report was ready within two days and emailed to both me and my agent. Paul himself would get five stars.
The reason for four stars is because I was told when I scheduled the inspection that someone would go out to the site before inspection day to get a sample of the well water since the results take a while to return. They never did! So now it’s been four days since the inspection and two days since I received the rest of the inspection report and still no word on water results. This is setting me back from bringing issues to the sellers to come up with an agreement.
