I use Dwight Sharp at Sherwood for almost all of my transactions in CT. Extremely professional, thorough and very knowledgeable. He is my preferred inspector and he has helped so many of my clients understand the homes they are buying in an easy and simple way!

Wayne was great at explaini potential issues, and maintenance tips to keep things lasting longer. He did a thorough walk through and gave us a detailed report and even identified certain electrical issues that would pose a problem down the line.

Inspector ( Michelle Goodrich) and ( Ian Glanovsky) was very thorough about the process and was very detailed about finding areas where you wouldn't even think about. As a first time home buyer inspector was very detailed in explaining everything as we went along with the process. Overall experience, we were treated like family!

My Inspector Dwight was promopt, professional and engaging! The condo Unit he inspected will be turning 125 years old this upcoming year, and as such posses a number of challenges and obstacles when attempting to provide a micro inspection of the home, due to its sheer age and compounded updates, prior repairs and required upgrades to modernize the unit! I was impressed by Dwights determination to sort out the nuances of the condo, and its numerous intricacies! My only negative has to do with SIS, and the fact that they assured me when scheduling the inspection that they would inspect the roof via a drone, which they failed to do, and then offered to protvide the service at an additional cost of $150! Shame on you SIS, and please note that this is not reflective of my Inspector Dwight!

It’s genuinely painful to leave such grammatically incorrect documents up online but when I do these things is one of those think of it now do it now things and it’s voice to text so please don’t judge me on my grammar here I am a writer which is quite ironic I realize perhaps it’s more understandable either way SHERWOOD INSPECTION SERVICES is great I do not know what happened I probably wrote too much I know that I talked too much to a Lovely and well informed representative of this incredibly comprehensive helpful professional company. Shakynnah Told me that she was new to the business but it would be hard to believe because she was so well informed and the perfect attitude for somebody in her position she was readily able to look up my questions when she didn’t know the answers and was patient helpful and informative and I feel encouraged by the process I won’t say it’s cheap...

We used Sherwood to inspect a home we were looking to purchase. The inspector, Jay, was incredibly professional and thorough. He was great to work with, answered all my questions and went out of his way to look into concerns that I had. We did not purchase the house because of issues that were discovered during the inspection. While it was not the result we wanted, it was so helpful to know about these problems ahead of time. When the time comes to try again, I will be requesting Jay.
