Askew’s Landing RV Campground

We have really enjoyed staying here. We have great neighbors. It's a very peaceful place where the scenery never ceases to amaze me. The wildlife is wonderful and fun to watch. The kids have a great time out here. Most everyone out here has been very respectful of the speed limit since there is kids playing and the wildlife. We have traveled across the United States for my husband's job and this place is by far my favorite place to stay.

It is so beautiful and peaceful. Love the wild life. Everyone that is staying here have been so friendly and helpful. Plus the fishing is awesome.

Fantastic, hide away off the beaten path.
Cash only here, very inexpensive night stays with full hooks, laundry, showers, pool, game room, store,propane...deep in forest , fishing 15 acer lake and two ponds.

We had a great experience at Askew's Landing while traveling through the state in November.

he park is very nice, quiet, and beautiful. Our site was right on the lake and we enjoyed incredible bird activity and privacy in the morning at sunrise.
The owners were very nice and accommodating. We already plan to make this park a regular stop in our travels east and west!
We recommend Askew's Landing Campground to everyone looking for a clean well managed RV park.

Very quiet, picturesque facility, out-of-their- way friendly staff. Shower/restroom is dated but clean, they are working on a second, new facility. Only reason for not giving five stars was there was an odor issue with the park sewer system when we were there, they were trying to correct it but it was not overwhelming, more of a nuisance.

This was a battle field, great fishing! But advertised nature trail was closed.

I have been staying at this campground full time since May of 2014. Overall the campground is great. It has a nice salt water pool that is well maintained. Grass is always mowed. There are a few year round campers there, I being one, but most of them keep to themselves and are generally pretty quiet.

It is privately owned has a private lake, and the owners are available on site to assist and answer questions. You can find less expensive places to stay but in the immediate area they are the best.
