This place is awesome and family friendly. I know Sandy and Ryan work there butts off taking care of the place. They all do but those 2 never stop working.

New owners! They are rocking with upgrades and customer service! Really nice fishing lake! Pet friendly! 50 amp service! Most sites have sewer! Our stay was very nice!

All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Grounds were maintained well and bath houses were clean. Fun little place and we will definitely be back!

Great stop over on the way to Gulf Shores!!! Loved this campground! I am not one to write a review but this place deserves it! From the DFW metroplex it is the halfway point to break the trip up. We arrived to an extremely friendly and accommodating staff. The pool is salt water with shallow on both ends and 6ft in the middle. Small but perfect for a swim. The campground is well kept and the showers are clean and spacious. Individual rooms to shower in with toilet and sink. It truly is a hidden gem. A secret I want to keep all to myself but one that needs to get out.

Great place! Beautiful pond and animals! We enjoyed our time out at the dog park, playground and pool! Will definitely go back! The staff was wonderful!

Great stopover from Monticello Georgia to Waco Texas.

We stayed one night on our way to FL and was greeted warmly by (Jason, I think!?). It had been raining quite a bit and when he noticed our big rig (41’ 5th wheel) he offered to change our site since there was some mud. We really appreciated that! Definitely a beautiful place with gorgeous tall pine trees and a pond/lake to sit by and take it all in. 😍🤩 We’re staying again on our way back home!

We had the best camping trip. The staff are very attentive and friendly people. It’s a quiet and safe location. There was fun planned activities for the kids and adults. We liked kayaking on the lake. The lake was somewhat small but we saw turtles and a small alligator. It’s a country vibe with a nice swimming pool, clean showers, restrooms and laundry facilities. If in the area, I would stay here again.

Great place to camp or just to stop over night.

We really enjoyed it here. We were passing through and stopped for one night. Quiet peaceful and plenty of families. Cornhole and karaoke were lively wholesome fun. Sandy and Brian were super accommodating. Pool is nice and clean.

My boys had a BLAST at camp this week!

A quiet, small campground. It has all the amenities and the staff show southern hospitality. My wife & I are looking forward to our next opportunity to stay here.

We never would have known about this place had we not had car trouble close by but this is a vacation place all of its own. Secluded and wonderful quiet place to relax. Full camper hookups 30 and 50 amp services. A lot you can pull through even . The staff were awesome. Friendly and helpful. A ton of amenities like a private lake for fishing ,pedal boats and kayaking , swimming pool, laundry facilities bathrooms and bathhouses on site, very family oriented atmosphere. The host has activities a lot that are great for the kids too we had a great stay We will definitely be back

Midway between where we were from (Atlanta) and where we were going (Texas). Most of the time that is a parking lot, sometimes that is a crappy RV park, and sometimes a spectacular state park that we wish we could have spent more time at. Never what we really wanted. This was exactly what we wanted. A quick overnight stay at a normal place. Quiet, simple, a beautiful view of the lake, clean. Online reservations and the packet for late check-ins are ready to go when you arrive. Reasonable prices. Close to I-20. A no brainer if you're in the area and I would recommend staying longer if you can. One thing that is confusing is the shared sites along the lakefront. Each power pedestal has two numbers so you would assume someone else might be parking there and we got worried so tried to ensure there was room incase someone did. It seems that those spots are not bookable so we are curious...

Well kept quiet campground. People are friendly and helpful. Planned to stay 2 nights but stayed 4 due to car trouble. They were very accommodating!

Nestled in the woods, this is a beautiful campground with natural rustic charm surrounded by a small lake. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Peaceful environment with some permanent and some traveling folks. Location is great in between busy Vicksburg and Jackson. Most sites looked like they had a lot of shade and grass.

Very peaceful when you arrive, especially when you drive on the interstate all day!
We only spend 1 night but recommend this place. Looks very family oriented! Staff super friendly and very helpful. We booked on our way back at the same place.

Traveling through the area and needed a one night stay. Saw Askew’s Landing campground website. Looked ok, but boy were we surprised when we got there. It was exactly the kind of place we like to camp. Beautiful grounds, the lake, well spaced out sites, off the road just a few miles so it was very peaceful. All kinds of amenities. Very friendly staff. We were booked for one night and immediately asked if we could stay two. Mary checked us in and was very helpful. She even picked me up at my site in her golf cart to show me the pool and how to work the fussy gate 😎
