Rockland County Weight Loss has been a life saver to me. When I met with Joe for the first time, I was in a dark place. My body was going through so much and I did not know what to do. My weight loss journey began in 2022 and I was doing okay, then I hit the dreaded plateau. I had knee replacement surgery and then perimenopause started rearing its ugly head and the weight just started packing on. My body was not my own. I was depressed and desperately trying every diet trick I knew NOTHING was working and I felt horrible. My dyshidrotic eczema, my primary lymphodema and the pain and limitations from the knee surgery were out of control. Then I saw RCWL video online and made the call. I met with Joe and we talked about EVERYTHING!! He went into great detail the benefits of red-light therapy and whole-body vibration in conjunctions with the nutrition program. I felt hopeful. I won't lie I was nervous, I had been through so many different programs and nothing would get me past that plateau my body kept stopping at. I met my coach Jenn and went over my concerns and what I wanted my end goal to be. My first session was incredible!! I left feeling a noticeable difference in my back, hip and knee pain, I felt energized and strangely relaxed and calm. I also met Tracey & Serra, they are AMAZING!! The coaches have given me a strong network and support system for the first time ever. Jenn was always a text away which was amazing when I began the nutrition plan, because it was hard to reprogram myself. Tracey & Serra shared their own experiences and helpful hints, recipes, tips, listening and guiding me whenever I have questions. Having a team to tap into when I have questions or feel stuck is incredible. Joe is so motivational. I started seeing the difference within the first week or so. My pain, my sleep, my flexibility, my appetite all significantly changing for the better. I wasn't getting the cravings, I wasn't feeling tired after lunch, I was sleeping better. My workouts were getting more productive because I was finally building strength back since my knee surgery. My skin was clearing, my painful, itchy, irritating eczema was dissipating and the scaly patches were getting smaller and smaller, even my dermatologist noticed it. I had my first weight in and I was blown away. Not only did I reach my first goal, I surpassed it and the inches have been melting away. I am wearing jeans I have not worn in 8 years and they are loose on me!!! I’ve gotten rid of 30 pounds so far and almost 20 inches overall. My journey isn't over yet but I feel so positive I had to share especially for any one out there who is thinking about joining.
