I was referred to Reaves and Lee by a friend who had recently gone through bankruptcy with them and said the process was easy. I reached out and had an initial consultation with Mr. Ramirez, who very graciously took the time to listen to what I thought was a complex situation involving personal and small business debt that we wanted to discharge. He assured me that I qualified for my desired chapter, and I left our conversation feeling so much lighter than I had before I called. The following days proved to find more detailed info on our end, realizing we had a property attached to us that we felt further complicated things. Let me be perfectly clear, I have called other attorneys and have been hung up on, no calls returned, blown off, told that there was no way I would qualify for a chapter 7 and would have no option but to file a 13 instead, that I would have to liquidate this property to make the debt disappear.
