The Goddard School

Our family had a wonderful experience with Goddard. We appreciated the consistency and dedication of their teachers. They rarely had teacher turnover.

We had two children at their program. Our youngest was there from the infant room through pre-K. Our children were very well prepared for kindergarten and scored in the highest percentiles on their kindergarten "readiness exams" once they entered elementary school.

We have a pre-schooler (4 years old) about to move into public school kindergarten next fall. He has been at the Goddard school since 3 months. The school worked hand in hand with us for potty training. He has great social skills and independent problem solving skills. All of the kids have their own personalities, but they have been able to develop into a smart diverse group. He is very very well prepared for elementary school. He can write words, do simple addition and subtraction, and is starting to read! He and his daycare friends are ahead compared to neighboring daycares. The Goddard in Peachtree Corners is an excellent choice for your child's daycare. Ms Sharon and Ms Landy do an amazing job running the center and are a perfect combination of enthusiasm, organization and love. I am not sure that I can express just how grateful I am to Goddard at Peachtree Corners. My child has been attending since Jan 2024 and at every turn I continue to be impressed. The level of care that she receives from her teachers is very evident, I can see that the staff truly care about my child, and honestly, all the children in their care. The administration staff are amazing; the attention to detail and the amount of effort that is put into making the days fun and educational for the kids is very apparent. Lets see, where do I start? I am a first time Mom, and SUPER uptight about everything involving the care of my little one. After the Pandemic, we were required to return to work 1 day per week. It took me forever to comply because I was nervous about childcare, but I found the perfect Nanny for my little one. Nanny care was expensive, but I could swing 1 day per week in my budget. Fast forward, and I was now facing a cross in the road to either comply to an almost full weeks schedule in the office, break the bank with Nanny care, walk away from my job because I did not want to return to the office full-time, and more importantly, be away from my little one!

The level of care, kindness, and love for children has remained consistently high over the years, which I am truly grateful for.

The administrative team--Ms. Landy, Ms. Sharon, and Mr. Jarrod--are exceptional. They listen to concerns, take action, and are always responsive, accommodating, and professional.

My childs current teacher, Ms. Rachel, is simply amazing. Her attention, love, and care for the children provide me with peace of mind knowing my child is in such good hands.

Great day care. I always have a good feeling with leaving my child here every day. The only suggestion for improvement that I have so far is the quality of the food and snacks. For example, snacks are sometimes Cheetos (or similar) or canned fruits. I would prefer that they won't offer ultra processed food and canned fruits to my child but something more healthy. I have had 2 children at The Goddard School in PC since 2021 until current. One graduated Pre-k fully equipped (and some) to successfully enter Kindergarten with the academic and social skills required. The teachers are great and the directors are top notch. I can't say enough good things about this school. We researched a good bit before we enrolled our son here at 2 and he is now 4. The owners and leaders are top notch and very involved. Last year, the assistant director, Landy, dressed up as a turkey for their Thanksgiving program and danced alongside the kids. While it was fun and the kids loved it, I was impressed by the thoughtfulness of the program and how she was willing to jump in there all day for each class performance. Just one small example.

The teachers have been fantastic and communication is great. They have lower turnover than the other nearby centers and outstanding people that work there. I'm writing as we are about to age out of the school so bittersweet for us. Highly recommend this school! Read more >
