I was so scared going into this… in my 60’s, extensive scar tissue on lowers from a crush injury and kidney disease..yikes!!
And yet here I am the day after surgery soaking up the beautiful Kentucky sunshine outside with a good book, my feet u and music in the background. Anaesthetist Matt did a wonderful job watching my
fluid levels (so important with my kidneys) as did Nurse Harper afterwards. I am sure this care helped me have a good recovery…
And Nurse Beth was awesome with answering my questions even before surgery, as was Kara.
Do my legs hurt? Yes… would I do it again? Yes! I am hoping to be back in January for the uppers .
