Prefer Health: acupuncture and wellness

I recently saw Mika for my first treatment and it has left a big impact on me. I felt safe and heard during the initial history taking session, she created a lot of space for me to open up as deeply as i felt comfortable doing without being pushed. During treatment I felt completely taken care of, I appreciated her explanations of which points she had chosen and how that related to my complaints, I also loved the addition of cupping and essential oils during the visit which made it feel like every detail I brought up was being addressed. The space is peaceful and welcoming and filled with wonderful touches like the smell of cinnamon incense and a beautifully curated product selection in the lobby. I almost don’t want to write this because she is that good. I went in for several things and I can honestly say all of them are much much better. She believes in a holistic approach by healing from the inside out. Mika understands Western medicine and is able to apply her expertise with Eastern treatments. I have found much more relief after seeing Mika from her treatments than I ever did seeing many specialists for the same things. Her kind way of approach helps me tell her things that have helped me.. Often these are things that I don’t associate with other things going in my body. This is really the place to go for acupuncture. I knew next to nothing about acupuncture and was very nervous but knew my body needed some help. The space itself feels healing! Literally the second I walked in I felt more comfortable. Mika is also so attentive and obviously knowledgeable, but she also is so validating and really listens to what I'm trying to explain that's going on in my body and mind.
