Prairie Learning Center

My children have been coming to Prairie Learning Center since 2022 and we are so happy with this facility! The staff are amazing in so many ways, my daughter has been with Miss Cindy and Miss Erin's classes but all the teachers know her and she talks about Miss Kayla, Miss Suz and Miss Katrina all the time - She loves them so much. The staff truly care about my kiddos and treat them with respect, adding fun and a great curriculum into each day. I appreciate the system they use that lets them send photos daily so I can see what they're working on. They invite activities like Gymnastics, music and library which make the daycare more of a school and my kiddos have loved participating in these! Our daughter has been attending the Prairie Learning Center for just over a year now and she loves it!! She thrives there with the other kids and each teacher has been so kind to her. As parents we get updates through the app and photos, so it’s nice to be able to keep tabs on our kiddo throughout the day even if we aren’t there. We’re in our third year at PLC. I can honestly say the staff are like family. I’m so lucky to be able to have such confidence in my children’s early learning center. My child has been at this center for almost two years. Her first teacher was Miss Erin taught her almost all of her letters and how to write her name at 3 years old. Her new teacher Miss Cindy is also so focused on her learning and also helping her to understand and process emotions in new ways. The director Miss Kayla has made sure to have consistent contact with us. She also has been proactive with teaching the instructors about trauma based relational intervention for foster children. My son has attended PLC full time for almost 2 years now. I can say without a doubt he is safe and happy. The teachers are amazing and the director Ms.Shatawn is is incredible. She is very understanding and compassionate. I’ve always found resolution easily with her on any grievances I may have had and never felt uncomfortable going to her with questions or concerns. My son has had trouble with language, we use (ASL) sign to help with communication. Our transition to Strasburg was pretty rocky in the beginning trying to figure out what works especially for a 2yr old who was already set in a routine, however the staff at PLC helped my son transition into a new one gracefully. Prairie Learning Center is the best thing that has happened for my son! The staff is amazing and I can not thank them enough for everything they teach my son everyday. His development has skyrocketed once he started PLC. I love that's it not a typical daycare and they have lesson plans every week to have the kids prepared for when they enter school. This is by far the best daycare around. I have searched and searched. My son is add and has a hard time sitting still for periods of time. Prarie learning center has taken time to make sure that NY son got the help he needs. Now he is thriving and making huge progress with his day to day life. Prairie is amazing! Over the last 3 years both my children have gone to Prairie and I have always felt like they were in great hands! They take your children's well being, happiness, development and safety seriously.

For a parent it is wonderful to have a place you can take your child(ren) and know they are safe and cared for while you work. I know it hard to leave your babies but this place makes it easier.

They have amazing teachers who provide the kids with a variety of activities to help nurture their development

I searched long for a daycare for my son when we moved to Idaho. I am so happy we found Prairie Learning Center, my son loves his teachers, the activities they do daily, and loves that he has made some friends along the way! I LOVE this school. I had been trying to get my kids into ABCD, because I went there as a child. This school has a very similar feel with classrooms, teachers, and schedules.
My kids love their friends there! The kids are sweet and kind and learn about their emotions, which is very important.
I receive pictures of kiddos throughout the day, and everytime it really brightens my day!
Everyday my kids say "I'm so exited to see my new friends!" We have also had a lot of fun packing our own lunches. They're thrilled to have their Frozen and Spiderman lunch boxes to show to their new friends.

Absolutely love Prairie Children’s! I would recommend this place to anyone with children. My girls have been going since September and they are doing amazing and learning so much.
