I recently had the pleasure of working with Phoenix Tax Consultants, and I must say it was an absolute delight! From start to finish, their exceptional service, expertise, and dedication left me thoroughly impressed. If you're in need of reliable tax assistance, look no further!

2nd year I used this service, last year was complicated with 2 states and 4 jobs between my spouse and I. This year was a little easier tax wise, but if I HAVE to pay to get my taxes done (with some online form) I am at a point where the 2 hrs to gather the docs+ 15 mins to upload is worth getting 1-2 weekend days back from answering the questions and hoping I wasn't committing some form of inadvertent tax fraud. Also, I was late to the game, but they still turned it around within the week to file on time. I could eSign, and payments/refund was scheduled, just have to print/mail my local supplement. FTW!

I have worked with Julie Brufke Wenger and Chris Furman of Phoenix Tax Consultants for years. They have always exceeded my expectations by streamlining tax filings and providing valuable suggestions for filing as an independent business owner and head of household. Chris has been very responsive and concise in dealing with the IRS especially during the pandemic when getting timely responses is complicated at best. I highly recommend this practice - especially now for those in need of extra guidance given Covid-related government subsidies that may be hard to follow on your own.

This review is limited to the tax preparation services provided by Attorney Chris Furman. A friend recommended him as she said he did a great job on her taxes, which are quite complicated. I liked that he has both an LLM in tax and has an accounting background as well. He was very patient when he did my return, asking a lot of questions that my prior accountant had not! He educated me on recent changes to the tax code that were relevant to my circumstances, helping me to save money on my return. While I expected to pay money due to cashing in an IRA, I actually got money back! I have had very limited dealing with this company or any of the other staff that work here but I can say I would recommend Chris Furman as he was very thorough, professional and pleasant to work with.

I recently made the switch from the corporate world to self-employed small business owner and Chris helped me every step of the way when it came time to maximizing deductions, finding tax breaks, etc. Great accountant, great guy, great experience!!!
