Pet Stop of Northern New England

We have used Pet Stop of Northern New England for more than 15 years. They installed two large loops for our dogs: one in the backyard and one out front. In this way, the dogs stay in the back but when let out front we are secure that they will be contained.
The Pet Stop installation and Training teams are first rate. Over the years we have had a number of different breeds including Great Danes, Corgis and currently Standard Poodles. Using Pet Stop training practices, all the dogs learned very quickly, and the learning was permanent.
The equipment is top notch and backed by a superb warranty. When a transmitter failed past its warranty period it was replaced for a nominal fee saving $$$.
Would that every service provider perform like Pet Stop of Northern New England.

When we moved into our home, the prior owners had a Pet Stop Electronic fence installed. When we got our dog, they came out and showed us how to use it, they trained our dog and put up the flags telling us the next steps in the training. Since then they have kept us with a regular supply of batteries with their auto replacement program. Would recommend to anyone with a yard and a dog.

Pet stop installed an invisible fence system for our dog, Tess a month ago and it has worked perfect for her and we love it!!! She has freedom and we feel secure that she won’t leave the yard. Well worth the cost!!!

When I was first considering my options, I was reluctant about an electric fence, and the zap our dogs would be receiving if they crossed the boundary line and a chain link fence is unattractive, unable to be installed right off a door, due to the layout of my yard, plus 3 times more the price for just a small area. During my consultation with the owner, I was impressed with his honesty and professionalism, as well as hearing his first-hand knowledge with his own dog. On top of that, the price is quite reasonable and our dogs are able to use our entire space, rather than just a small area of the yard. I was feeling more at ease and very excited to get started. Their Gentle Steps training is exactly that...they spend time working with you and your dog(s) on the day of the install, then leave you with a two week training period, while your dog is still on leash, to gently teach the dog...

This was the first time we've needed an electric fence with our dogs, we were not looking forward to the process. From day 1 Pet Stop was been professional, responsive, and informative. Not only do they provide the installation service, they also provide training. All of the staff were very knowledgeable on the product as well as dog behaviors. Billy came out to do our off-leash yard training. He was unbelievable! So patient, answered all of our questions, stayed until we felt comfortable, and offered follow up services. Pet Stop made this whole process so easy and comfortable for us and our dogs. Nothing but positive experiences with this company.

I have had a Pet Stop fence from the Northern NE business for several years. I have been very happy with the fence, their customer service and the mail order battery program. After a utility company had to work in my yard I had the have Pet Stop come back out to secure the connection, Their customer service is great! Prompt & flexible to fit my needs. Highly recommend! We installed the fence when we had just two pups and now we have adopted again (two more times!). Each time we've added a new collar to the system it has gone smoothly and the ladies in the office have been very helpful. The system has afforded us peace of mind especially being able to manage things using the PetStop app.

Petstop was a professional company from start to finish. Very nice to work with. I was given a presentation on the dog fence and everything that the fence will do. All my questions were answered and I was left satisfied. The fence is as advertised. My dog is contained to the yard! The starting setting was to weak, so a phone call and I was talked through adjusting the settings myself. Took maybe 5 minutes. I would highly recommend calling them if you are interested in a dog fence. I had my fence installed in July and had two free training session. The training I had to do was simple and easy for my dog to pick up. Go Pats!!

Rob came out to sit with my husband and I and meet our new rescue, who unfortunately we found out was dog aggressive and disucss our options. He was very confidnet that he could help us allow our dog some freedom but also keep him and others safe. They were prompt in their appointment schedules and very courteous. The install went quick and the thing we loved best is that they include in the pricing, training you and your pet on the fence so you both feel confident in using the fence. They even come back to ensure you are both set up for success. I did have a few issues trying to reach them during our 2 week training with some issues we were noticing with our pet and left a message with the front desk ad never got a call back.

Learned about Pet Stop through Billy and Avalon. The company installed a dog fence for my puppy, Mollie. Everyone that helped us was really nice and knowledgeable! Avalon explained all of the collars, fences, and features in great detail. She was able to answer all my questions and I felt confident I made the right choices. Muharem must've come on the hottest days of the year, but he finished the fence quickly and did an amazing job. You wouldn't even know there was a fence installed. Him and Billy were able to provide great tips on fence training. Mollie learned her fence quickly, and it has kept Mollie safe.

Would recommended Pet Stop because they were easy to coordinate with, staff members are friendly and knowledgeable, and the pricing for installation is reasonable.

I already had the fence installed for a previous dog. Avelon helped me at least 10+ times via the phone & one office visit...to get the fence 'up & running'. Avelon is EXTREMELY patient, detail oriented, & knowledgeable. My 15 month old boxer has a heart murmur & is going for a surgical consult in October for brachycephalic syndrome (she needs her nostrils enlarged). We were extremely worried that the 'correction' would cause a medical emergency. Our dog definitely felt the correction (static shock?) & hated it but, she did not have a cardio-respiratory 'event'. Having said that...each dog is different & dog parents should always consult with their Veterinarian before proceeding with anything. The fence is great exactly where I wanted it and when I have questions they always call me back!

They are awsome!!! great service and if you need anything they are quick to answer they helped my dog after she was scared by the fence the first time but they took the time to make sure she was comfortable in her yard.
