PEP did a fantastic job. Zach and Dale made me promise I would not advertise twelve days from sales pitch to installation and connected to the grid. Clearly several factors worked in our favor: 1) quick 24-hour response from our HOA; 2) cancellation of an install so we could slip into an unexpected slot on the schedule; 3) Encore allowing the system to be connected to the grid; and 4) a good credit rating.

Sales staff and the PEP engineer explained everything to my satisfaction. I'm an electrical engineer and asked more in-depth questions than what the PEP team typically encounters. I had also done independent research on hours of sunlight per day in my location and efficiency that should be realized from the system. The predictions from PEP are turning out to be accurate.

We actually worked some of the final signatures from a cruise ship in the Caribbean....

From the explanation of the science and logic behind the product, to financial savings, to the financing, PEP made it a very easy and “no-brainer” decision for us. Installation was a breeze and our system was up and running within no time. Definitely will be sharing the benefits of solar with our friends and family and 100% referring them!

we have been so satisfied with our solar energy.
The biggest reason is that this company listened

My panels were installed back in 2009 by a different installer than Pep, the panels were from an internationally known maker.
They stopped working a few years ago so I was recommended a solar "expert" to investigate & we contacted the maker.
The original installer had gone out of business.
We were asked countless times for different info & tons of photo's from the maker. Mr EXPERT was up there for many hours & many trips.
It cost me quite a bit of $$$ & finally Mr.Expert said "you are wasting your money & I'm wasting my time. It is obvious the manufacturer is not willing to be professional to help despite the fact you are under warranty, they are giving you the run around "

Fast forward to last week, I was referred to Sean & Bonnie Katz who I had met unfortunately after my system had been purchased .

It was a little bit of a rocky start due to rate changes and switching from one brand of solar panels to another. But that was something completely outside of their control they found me the best panels which even turned out to be so efficient that I needed fewer panels to get the energy generation that I needed to have. They stuck with me until the job was done and I was up and running Ed even came back later to let me know when some of the panels work properly reporting generation a few months later. They're a local company and they do great work!

PEP Solar is great to work with. They are prompt, courteous, respectful, efficient and clean in their solar installations. It has been a tremendous experience with a company having such a long, outstanding track-record!

Everyone really seems to love their job. Communication between myself and the company was exceptional. You can really tell the difference between a family owned company and the other ones. Everyone from the kid Dallas that sold it, Tim and Mike and the polite workers on the roof, to a ceo that loves the business. Very happy boy.

A wonderful company. PEP Solar has saved us over $1000 in the last year. I recently spoke to one of the owners, very well informed fellow, with an eye to the future. He understands the potential for renewable resources in AZ. Vs the archaic non-renewable that we selfishly hang on to. Solar,wind,desalination etc. is the future. I am a repeat customer. I had solar panels installed in 2017 and love them. Great communication and no pressure sales. Added an A/C unit and love it. I can heat/cool my room without having to heat/ cool the whole house.

We were very pleased with PEP Solar agreeing to remove and replace our solar panels, so we could replace our shingled roof, as the original installer couldn't get to the job for at least 5 more months. The crew showed up on time and were very professional. It was obvious from the time they showed up that they knew their work. They were familiar with the process to disconnect the breakers and inverters prior to the work and took care to store the panels properly for re-installation. If we had any questions, they took the time to answer them without hesitation. They worked together as a team both on the removal and the install. We would recommend them highly to anyone in need of solar work.

The owners and employees of PEP Solar were/are professional, responsive and wonderful to work with. They did a great job and continue to answer any questions that I have. I have no problem giving a 5 star rating.

I searched solar companies for a few months, before making a decision, and had proposals from several of them. I found Cory to be knowledgeable and honest without the typical high pressure sales I felt from others. I worked for Carrier in my last career and understand A/C, energy and load-shedding equipment and had several questions along the way. Cory & Sean addresses all my questions to my satisfaction.

I selected PEP solar to install the solar system (8.4kW) and found them to be upfront, honest and forthright. The approval process from City, HOA, APS, etc took longer than I expected (approx. 2 months), but I understand the backlog & type of people assigned to these tasks. PEP handled all the approvals, supplying architectural drawings and product sheets to all the interested parties for approval.

Pep Solar is the only solar company we could find that did not use high pressure sales tactics, truly knows the product, and only sells the BEST panels and smartest system on the market. Every step of the process was 100% quality.

We are so glad that we went with PEP Solar. We talked with several other providers; one was completely unprepared and wasted our time. Not so with PEP.

Background:

We purchased the house in Dec 2011 and moved in Jan 2012. The house was built in 1992 and most of the dual pane windows had leaked and all had the typical bronze aluminum frames and were difficult to slide open. The AC was original, 20 years old, and the fan motor was leaking; multiple recommendations were to replace rather than repair. We had a lot of noise from the air handler inside the house. Whenever the AC or gas furnace kicked on, we had to turn up the TV. We couldn't live with this noise. These were all known issues when purchasing the house and we budgeted for repairs.

I have got to say that the folks at PEP went above and beyond in helping us become more energy efficient! We had several obstacles in our path to get the installation done before the APS rebate was lowered. They were able to get us the extension and when we were going out of town the owner of the company came and met with the inspectors, APS, you name it. The sales folks, the engineer, and the installation guys were great; they answered all of our questions through the entire process. If you want solar these are the folks to see!!

Pep solar originally installed our system 12 years ago and we just increase the size from 7 kilowatt to 14 kilowatt. Our electric bills are now $41 in the summer months. Love our solar. PEP Solar has a really good team and friendly and answered all my questions. It was a great experience even the second time.
