My daughter has been enrolled since an infant and is now in the toddler room and i have had nothing but incredible things to say about them! You get updates ALL day on their app from diaper changes to photos/videos to meals and snacks! I have no worries once she is in their care knowing she’s in great hands learning and playing all day. Our 14 month old twins have been going to Paper Planes for about 3 months. We feel very fortunate to have such amazing caregivers with our kids. My toddler twins had some behavioral issues and then my wife passed suddenly. This made their issues worse along with adding others. They were kicked out of another daycare I won't name because of these issues even though they knew the whole situation. That's when I called Paper Planes and got Maria. I explained everything to her and she was genuinely sympathetic. I immediately set up a walk through with Maria and Christine. I was very impressed and continue to be daily. All of the staff has shown my children an incredible amount of love and patience when they've needed it the most. They are treated as if they are their own and I couldn't be more appreciative of the support they as well as myself are receiving. As a new mom I was so nervous to enroll my child into a daycare, especially during covid. I did my research and came across this gem of a place. Maria the owner is a doll and is always quick to answer any questions I have. We love how our son grabs his shoes in the morning ready to go because he loves it and his teachers ! From the moment I called Paper Planes with my 1,000s of questions & Maria answered the phone, she knew just how to ease my mind and answered every question I had without a blink. I knew I would love it before I even went for the tour.
When going in for the tour Maria & Christine both welcomed me into the building with open arms. Maria & Christine are the most genuine, caring, and professional people you will meet! Just from meeting & speaking with them at the front desk makes you automatically want to send your child here. Going through the tour I got to see how the building is big & super clean. All the teachers are welcoming and just as amazing.

I can't speak highly enough about Paper Planes Early Leaning Center. It was very hard for me, during COVID, to even entertain sending my daughter to daycare. Their protocols have made me feel super safe and in just 2 weeks I have seen my daughter thrive! They do amazing activities with her - she's tried new foods just being in their care - and everyday they send me photos and videos to see how's she's doing. My daughter has her first week here and absolutely loved it. The teachers keep in touch all day and I absolutely love the app. They send me picture of my daughter all day and tell me when/what she ate and when her diaper was changed. My son has been in daycare since 4 months old, he’s now 2 1/2. The daycares we’ve went to have been sub par compared to Paper Planes. He is finally happy and willing to go with Maria or Christine to his classroom with out throwing a fit and getting upset. When we pick him up he’s also in a much better mood (smiling, outgoing, and even a better child when we get home). His teacher Ms Sheri is also amazing, she came out to talk to us about his day many times, along with Maria and Christine. Their playground is beyond amazing, having put in a rubber ground, not mulch or rubber mulch. What I really love most about this place is the app that lets you know what they’ve eaten, drank, played with for the day, along with amazing pictures to show what your child is doing. The owner of this daycare was the director at my boys’ daycare after we had been through many others. She came in like a breath of fresh air, connecting with parents, kids, and staff alike. She brings a combination of love, care, smarts and understanding to her leadership style, and is a parent herself, so really “gets” it. Her passion has always been to open a daycare center, and left our center with much love and support from all to found her own place. We met Maria Ahrens when she became the Director at Our Children’s Academy (Edgewater, NJ) in Jan 2018. It was our last year and half after being there since our son was 3 months old. We could not be more grateful for the structure and focus that she brought to education and child development. She made an effort to get to know each student and their families. Not only do we feel that our son benefited from Maria’s leadership but we benefited from workshops and material Maria shared to help parents navigate raising pre-school children.

The goal of Paper Planes is to raise the bar. Parents deserve to drop their babies off at a place they absolutely love. They deserve to get pictures, videos, and updates throughout the day! It’s hard enough that when your child turns 5, you suddenly have to drop them off at Kindergarten with little to no contact throughout the day. Imagine, dropping your 3 month old or 3 year old off and having to wonder how they are doing. We don’t want that for you.
