We recently moved to Canton, MI, from Arlington, TX. One of the first pieces of mail we received was the New Mover envelope. It was great to get information (and coupons!) for businesses that we would have been looking to patronize anyway, but this was a much quicker and greatly appreciated way to introduce us to these businesses near our new home. I do not receive much mail so I do not go to my mailbox very often because I know there will be just ads and/or junk mail. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Welcome packet from Our Town America. The certificates were ones we would definitely use too! We love our new home and our new neighborhood. It feels so good to get any Welcome items. I have already used the free oil change coupon from Big O Tires. I thought there would be a catch, but they changed my oil, rotated my tires and so much more... all for free! The best thing was they did not try to sell me anything else, I was not hassled at all! We used to live in North Peoria, near The Haymaker there.
