Lengthy but worth the read! I have been going to Osmon Chiropractic Center for over 10 months now.
I live a very active lifestyle and have competed professionally in barrel racing with my horses for over 15 years. I have been in more horse related accidents than I would like to admit. Resulting in a lot of problems with my hips and SI joints as well as a few neck issues. Problem is, I have always struggled with my adjustments not lasting more than a few days. Previous chiropractors blamed it on my lifestyle and told me I need to quit competing and riding horses. Quitting isnt an option, I love what I do! So, I eventually just got used to the constant pain and discomfort in my hips and lower back, and have continued to live a life that I love.
I decided to give Osmon Chiropractic Center a try early last year after they visited my work. My show season was about to start and I had big goals for the year, it was worth a try...... and I am glad I did!
I have never been to such a thorough first visit and evaluation! I explained my struggles and issues. The doctor took the time to really listen to me, explain things to me, and came up with a detailed, extensive treatment plan.
All of the staff are super friendly and personable! Every single doctor there is fantastic and you can tell that they truly care!
The therapists at Osmons are just as good, if not better, with their soft tissue work as some of the top notch physical therapists I have seen in the past!!!
Like in the past, I struggled with my adjustments not holding more than a few days. BUT, this time instead of blaming my horses and my active lifestyle and trying to convince me to quit, they took the initiative to find a way that worked! They did what no other chiropractor I have been to was willing to do... Which was to step away from the usual, everyday, go to techniques that all chiropractors use the most, because it wasn't working for me. They listened to me, they evaluated, they watched my competition videos, and studied my competition pictures to try to understand the demands of my sport and the struggles I was having. They thought outside of the box, they tried different techniques, and listened to what my body was telling them worked, and what didn't!
This continued every appointment until they found a technique that worked for EVERY issue that I have! A month and a half in.....My adjustments were holding, my pain and discomfort was the lowest it's been in years! I was competing with my horses every weekend and my adjustments were still holding! I was no longer struggling with un level hips, which meant I was able to ride better and perform better. Osmons quickly had taken my game to the next level, and my big goals for the season were well within reach!......
Then in September, I was in a freak accident during a competition run with my horse. Thankfully my horse was ok, but I was not so lucky. It was a set back that very well could have ended my season dead in its tracks! I called Osmons first thing Monday morning and they got me in immediately! The team of doctors and therapists worked on me all week long, and thanks to them, I was able to compete again that Saturday!
I didnt miss a single competition and not one bump in the road became a set back, ALL SEASON LONG!
Thanks to all of the hard work, compassion, and dedication of the entire team at Osmon Chiropractic Center.....Those big goals that I set at the beginning of the year (2019).... I achieved them!... But it doesnt stop there!
Achieving them means bigger things in 2020..... Achieving them qualifies me to compete in not only- TWO National Championship Shows.... But also the WORLD Championship Show in 2020!!!! None of which would have been possible without the entire team at Osmon Chiropractic Center keeping me feeling and performing at my best all season long!!! I really can't thank you all enough, I couldnt have done it without you and I'm glad to have you all with me in 2020!
