Surgery with Dr. Jeffrey Pearson was a difficult surgery, only because I had just had a partial knee replacement 3 weeks before I saw him the first time. When I got home from that first surgery, a bone broke in my knee, so Dr. Pearson had to remove that transplant and build one to fill in where the bone had broken and add an extension that went down into the bone toward my ankle. It was a lengthy and very painful surgery. Getting up and walking took some time and was painful. When I went home, things seemed to be better, and I was able to walk with a walker. I went through rehab and all seemed to be going well, until the pain started about half way between my knee and my ankle, and was located about where the metal extension ended.
