The Goddard School of Folsom

We love The Goddard School (Folsom)!! I have both my kids here, 2 yo and 4 yo. They love their teachers and are always so excited when we walk into the school! We are always greeted by one of the admins and love the warm Good Morning welcome. Once I drop my kids off, I always leave feeling very comfortable that they are in the best hands. If I ever have a question/concern or if they do, we can easily text eachother throughout the day with quick responses. I love that! One of my favorite things, is the Tadpools App the school uses for all parents to get a day to day run down of how the day went, including adorable photos of my kids, updates, curriculum for each week, and teachers comments or announcements. It is a really great App! Overall, we give our school a 10/10. Ms. Kaylee, the owner, is also so easy to work with and I love her positive, energetic attitude. I am SO happy Ms....

Folsom Goddard feels like family. I’ve been lucky enough to have all 3 of my boys attend and the teachers and staff are amazing. They always have a monthly calendar that has themed weeks and dress up days (which the boys love). I have no idea how the directors and management team do it, but they develop a relationship with every child there to the point where they can tell my identical twin boys apart and know their interests, likes and dislikes. They also go all out on school events: trunk or treat, winter concert (for the upper classes) and the pancake breakfast with Santa just to name a few. These events have helped my boys make memories with their Goddard friends that will last a lifetime. The teachers are also amazing! I have two kids enrolled at Goddard, one in Pre-K and one in Preschool. We just moved to the area and this school came highly recommended… I now see why! Goddard staff has been extremely welcoming and my kids fit right in. While it took my youngest some time to adjust, watching the nurturing teachers and administration put me at ease leaving at drop off. The on-site owner, Ms. Kaylee, and her team are so passionate about what they do. They go above and beyond to make the children AND the parents feel welcome and comfortable with their communication. It warms my heart how happy and excited they are to go to school and learn each day. I especially love the daily pictures and reports of the weekly activities. There’s a parent app, Tadpoles, that shows what the kids are learning so I can ask them questions about their day.

As a first time mom I had a lot of feelings around putting my daughter in daycare, and wanted to find a facility that I felt would not only meet her every day needs but would love and nurture her. Goddard exceeded my expectations. I started my daughter at this school when she was 6 months old, and from day one it felt like she was a part of the Goddard family. On top of the daily pictures and detailed reports about the day, her teacher made an effort to step outside and check in with me at least weekly and this meant the world to me as due to Covid we weren't allowed in the building yet (now we are :)). They worked with my daughter on the schedule that I had asked them to follow and I was thrilled and astonished as I watched her thrive and learn so much! While the world around us seemed to be acting irrational, they were making well thought out practical decisions while maintaining a level of safety that keep us considered parents comfortable. We started with Goddard back in October when our little guy was 17 months old. He is now 21 months old and we have not regretted enrolling him one bit! He has thrived with his social skills, sign language skills, motor skills, and even language skills since going to school.

Prior to moving to California, our son had never been to daycare due to the pandemic and we were both nervous and excited to get him signed up. How would he do? How would he tolerate it? Any mama gets nervous about this.

But we have not looked back! He loves going to school which is evident by his happy strut into school carrying his lunchbox. Every teacher and staff we have met have exceeded our expectations! They are always quick to answer questions via text or email, post daily updates (including precious photos of the daily activities), and extremely friendly to all of us.

We were looking for the best place for our Benny to go and were looking for something fun and also educational. We found the Goddard home and we just absolutely love it. We are so happy to be a part of the Goddard family!

Goddard Folsom is an amazing place full of teachers who take the anxiety out of leaving your kid at daycare. Our toddler heads to school with excitement and comes home with new skills, words, songs, and tricks every day. I never worry about her when she is there. I am happy, I know she is learning and she's happy. What else is there? Go, Goddard!

Our daughter went to the Goddard school in Folsom for about seven months, she absolutely loved it! She would get very excited when we would pull up to "my" school. When she first started she was in the toddlers classroom (Sea turtles) and loved Ms. Teresa. Just before she left she was in Ms. Marina's class (Seals) and really enjoyed her new friends in that class as well. Both great teachers! We only left because we relocated to Fresno, otherwise we would continue to have our daughter there. In the short amount of time she was there we noticed a huge difference in her vocabulary and overall performance. It truly was a pleasure having our daughter here and would recommend this school to anyone looking for a preschool program.

My son started here on short notice due to my previous situation ending abruptly. It ended up being the best thing we could have done for our son and I wish I would have started him sooner.Within two months he has learned 5 sign language signs and can communicate his needs to us. He has gotten into a regular nap schedule and he is so stimulated through out the day he now sleeps through the night. The teachers are far more than babysitters. They create lesson plans and activities to help develope these little ones. You can tell they genuinly care about these kids and love their jobs. It is worth every penny!! The Owner, Kaylee, is always open for conversation and she is so easy to talk to. Plus she loves kids! You’ll frequently see her interacting with them and checking in on the classrooms. You can tell this job is her passion which makes every parent feel confident in dropping off...

The Goddard school is the best preschool and toddler program in Folsom. We recently moved to Folsom from the Bay Area. We toured 10+ schools and Goddard was by far the best for their STEAM based curriculum and environment. I have two children, one in pre-k and one in the toddler classroom.

The pre-k program curriculum is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. My son is learning yoga, Spanish, reading, writing, typing, coding, science, math and still has time for imaginative play. He absolutely loves going to school everyday. On top of all that, they have visitors like dentists, musicians, artists, and others to inspire the children. It’s incredible. Oh and there’s also chess club! I feel confident my son will be more than ready for kindergarten.

My rating is based on our most current experience, though we’ve been with this school for about a year and a half. Our child is about to graduate from the infant program, which is one of the programs referenced often in the recent contentious reviews. It’s true that there were several staff changes, which we too were very concerned by, because our child had to get used to the new teacher each time. The owner respectfully listened and took our concerns seriously; overall, she handled the staff changes well, with clear communication. Most importantly, staffing is stable now; our son is loving his current teachers and thriving. As parents, we sincerely hope that the school remains dedicated to striving for continuous improvement so our son and his schoolmates all continue to flourish in a happy and healthy environment. My Daughter has attended the Goddard school for over two years now and hands down the best school we could have her attend. As a parent there are few individuals that you trust with your Children. Since day one attending the Goddard school she has been taken care of by the best and we could not be more thankful for all the staff that treat her as their own. She absolutely loves her school and gets excited to go! The Goddard school gives the feel that we are one big Family. My Daughter has advanced so much since attending and keeps advancing. They take education serious and make it fun for the kids. I would recommend the Goddard school to any parent that wants the best education, fun activities and a loving atmosphere for your Child. My kid loves Miss. Ruthie and she learnt a lot since she has joined Goddard school. The Daily activity report keeps me posted about their activity .The security system they follow is the best and keeps me tension free.I love the faculty, They are very understanding and courteous. The Goddard school is an amazing experience for my child and myself as well. My Daughter has been going here for around two years so far and she has learned so much. They make learning fun and treat each child as their own. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for the best for their child!

I can't say enough good things about the Goddard school in Folsom. Our daughter started Goddard at 4 months old on opening day. Our daughter absolutely loves her teachers, her friends and especially Kaylee, the owner. We can drop her off every day knowing that she will be loved and well taken care of. Because of Goddard our daughter is potty trained (well #1 anyway), can spell her name, knows her alphabet, can count to twelve and knows several yoga poses as well as sign language. I recommend Goddard to anyone considering a school for their child.

One of the best preschool in Folsom...Nice teaching staff and a good mix of students

When I set out to enroll my son in preschool I was uneasy (to say the least). He had been home with either myself or a nanny for years. I toured several facilities in Folsom and still didn’t feel like I found the right fit for my active 2 year old. One of my friends suggested that I check out The Goddard School, and I’m SO incredibly happy I did! I knew from the moment I walked in, that this school was different than any of the other school I had visited in the past. The children were all laughing, smiling and genuinely having fun. The facility is safe, secure and spotless. The teachers were very interactive and outgoing. It feels so good knowing that my son is in such good care when I am at work!
