Nicholas J. Shubin DDS

I have been going to Dr. Shubin for several years without issue. Recently I had to have more extensive work done (more than just a cleaning and check up). I was told I needed a filling replaced and a crown. The procedure itself was ok. The next day my "bite was off" so I returned to the office. Dr. Shubin was very unfriendly and even went so far as to say that "this happens everytime we do work on you, you always have to come back" and "your teeth are too close together" (implying this was my fault??). Next day I still can't bite down on my crown and my filling is still "off". Again I return to the office. Next day still no better. Another visit to the office. 5 visits later, he finally tells me that my bite is perfect and there's nothing else that can be done.
I was still in pain and couldn't bite down a week later. It was time for a second opinion. I went to a new dentist who found my bite to be off and he worked about 15 minutes to correct it.
I don't feel I should have to pay for Dr. Shubins poor work, and we will be contesting any bills we receive after insurance.
I don't appreciate Dr. Shubins attitude and lack of caring whatsoever. Other times I have heard him talk down to other patients and his staff.
It's too bad because his nurses and staff are all very friendly!
