Nest at Anderson Mill

My children have been at The Nest since they were about 1.5 and 2.5 years old, right around its grand opening. They're now 4.5 and 5.5 yrs old. They had the opportunity to attend both locations. When I had to relocate for my job they attended The Nest at Palm Valley briefly before it transitioned into a learning facility for older children. Even though there were different staff at each location, anyone involved with this school has always shared the same loving, caring spirit and the same goals for the children.
I honestly can’t say enough good things about this school.

The owner and co-founder are very friendly and truly have a vision for children’s growth and success. They're active, involved, and treat each child like their own.

We love this place. Our kids have grown so much since starting here — not just academically but in how they carry themselves. The teachers actually know our children by name and pay attention to what makes each one tick. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do. The Montessori setup lets kids learn without feeling like they’re being forced into a box, which was huge for us. Drop-off is smooth, communication is solid, and we always feel like we know what’s going on. Couldn’t be happier with our choice.

I've been privileged to be a part of the Nest at Anderson Mill Community. I've seen the I've and care that the owners have for both the teachers and the students alike. I've seen the hard work they put into building a safe and inviting place to learn for kids and heard the conversations at the inception as the building wasn't ready due to construction delays how they paid their teachers, who couldn't work because there wasn't a certificate of occupancy, out of their personal bank funds to keep good teachers until they could actually get students in the classrooms to start bringing in revenue. I've taken part in helping build play structures and heard the care the kids recieve as they learn at their own pace and seen the joy on the kids faces as they explore new things. If you're looking for a great place for your kids to learn I highly recommend the Nest at Anderson Mill

The Nest is such an extraordinary school. I love the transformation that has taken place within the last year at The Nest. Children are learning, thriving, the staff seem happy and engaged, and the new director, Mrs.Tanzi Is amazing! She is thoughtful, kind, well versed in the knowings of childcare, and makes you feel welcomed and at ease. The curriculum is great and the children are always laughing and smiling with their teachers. Please, if you get the opportunity to put your child in a great Montessori facility, The Nest at Anderson Mill is it! Thank you so much for everything that you do for our community. As a grandmother, there is nothing more important to me than knowing my family is in a place where they feel cared for, nurtured, and truly seen and The Nest has been exactly that for us.
What stands out most is the beautiful blend of learning and culture. The children are exposed to things like Spanish music and art, which not only enriches their education but also brings so much joy and creativity into their day. It’s clear that a lot of thought and heart goes into what they experience.
I also can’t say enough about the communication. It is truly top-tier. We are always kept informed, included, and reassured, which gives me so much peace of mind.

I was super scared to send her off at only 4 months old but due to lack of family and my job I needed to find a facility that would love her and take care of her as if she was their own. My son has been attending The Nest for the past two years, and I truly couldn’t be more grateful for the teachers and administrators. He struggled with reading for a while, and their patience and support helped him reach his reading level. The staff communicates well with parents and is always supportive and attentive.

Ms. Ines was awesome, and my child absolutely loved her. Ms. Betsy has such a calm and nurturing spirit. I truly feel blessed to have found them.

The Nest really feels like a family environment. The owner is very hands-on, and every time I arrive the staff is welcoming, happy, and excited to see the kids. I’m thankful to have found a place where I can trust my child and know he is cared for.

our experience so far has been incredible for our son. He’s in a safe space with a lot of great resources to help his development and grown to a young man from the location. The staff and the amenities is really a great space for any child to develop. in a Montessori environment.

If there’s one thing I’d like to see change or be different, it would be more obstacles or activities outside for the older classroom as there is a lack of play scapes, or any other activities for kids to do and explore during outside time. That’s definitely something that needs to improve because it seems like my son gets bored outside with the lack of Options to play with.

Super friendly staff, amazing location!

Amazing. Every child learns and develops at a different pace and that pace changes as they age. As they learn, flexibility its important to allow for this type of diverse learning but so is routine, discipline, respect and other social communications skills; The Nest is the only place we’ve found that can hit on all these different yet important aspects of childhood development. On top of this world class learning environment, the staff at The Nest work hard to make sure the community they have continues to thrive and grow. I’m honored that my child was able to benefit.

We love this place! Our 2.5 year old has been thriving and learning so much. The staff is super helpful, kind and patient. One of the biggest selling points for us was the food they serve. Not only does it help with one less thing to think about in the morning but our kiddo gets exposed to all sorts of cuisines we may not necessarily have at home and that wa’s important to us. We also love the Spanish integration that happens regularly. Overall we’re super grateful to have found this community.

It's with immense joy and a touch of bittersweet nostalgia that I write this review for The Nest at Anderson Mill. Our daughter, Pearl, recently graduated in May 2025, marking the end of a beautiful three-year journey with this incredible school.

When Pearl first started at The Nest, she was a bright but sometimes shy little girl. Over her three years there, we've witnessed an astonishing transformation. The Montessori approach, combined with the nurturing environment, has allowed Pearl to blossom into a confident, curious, and independent young learner. Her growth, not just academically but also socially and emotionally, has been truly remarkable. My grandbabies have been going here for 3 years and we all couldn't be happier! We love the whole team! It's AMAZING to watch how my grandbabies have learned so much at such a young age! The daycare/school business is hard enough to run alone but The Nest makes it look like a piece of cake!

We are so grateful for The Nest! We love the teachers and administration; they care so much about creating a supportive environment where all kids thrive. Our daughter is doing so well there and learns so much every single day. They have accommodated all her needs and she has developed so much in a short period with their support. We are excited for our second child to join The Nest in the near future.

My husband and I are so happy with the time we've had at The Nest so far! Our son, Tyler, started here when he was about 7 months old. Now he's 10 months old and he is THRIVING. He loves his teachers and friends. The teachers send regular updates on what they are doing during the day (with pictures!) and are great communicators. Every once in awhile we get a little arts & craft gift from Tyler that he made in school and it makes our day! We can truly tell that his teachers are as obsessed with him as we are.

We absolutely love the teachers at The Nest! They’ve built such a warm, caring relationship with our daughter, and it’s clear she loves going to school and spending time with her teachers and friends every day. The staff really takes the time to truly get to know our whole family, which has made us feel so welcomed and understood!
