I love Dr Furtado because of how she’s able to convey complicated issues in layman’s terms. Dr Kim is accessible via chat and that makes you feel connected and supported in that you have an experienced partner when facing health challenges…she’s absolutely the best health professional my wife and I have ever had the good fortune to meet.

I've been a patient of Dr. Furtado for at least 30 years. She has helped me immensely throughout that time. In fact, I may have been one of her first patients in Delaware. I recently completed an online course that Dr. Kim Furtado, N.D. offered entitled “Detox Your Household”. It was a 5 part class: Toxic Exposure in the Home; Plastic in the Kitchen; Personal Care Products; Toxic Chemicals in Household Cleaners; Clearing the Air: Indoor Air Quality.

The class was very well organized and extremely informative. Each section had a presentation in YouTube narrated by Dr. Furtado and multiple supporting documents that you can print. Each topic was supported by research. Links were provided to delve deeper into the topic.

I found that an App that Dr. Furtado referenced that can help check the ingredient safety of products extremely helpful. Also she recommended personal care products and uploaded those suggestions in FullScript. Each section had a handout for tips which I found most helpful since there is so much information to...

I have worked with Dr. Kim for a few years. I became frustrated with the traditional paths of medicine which motivated me to research better healthier options. The importance of addressing the roots of any disease or condition instead of masking the symptoms and working with a provider who believed and supported the body’s innate ability to heal and find balance became my goal as I realized the significance of a holistic approach to health. Dr.Kim is so patient and understanding. She will help you work through and figure out what you are feeling is wrong. She never makes your appointments feel rushed.

I was very favorably impressed with Dr. Furtado during our initial consultation. She struck me as compassionate and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, because neither Medicare nor my insurance provided enough help to cover the cost of consultation and supplements, I was unable to continue seeing her. If money were no object, I would have liked to continue treatment. She was very transparent about costs and her operation appeared to be very professionally run.
