The Goddard School Concord NC (Coddle Creek Market)

Teachers are very patient and take excellent care of the kids. Our daughter has been struggling to adapt at the school as it is her first time. The teachers have been very kind and supportive during her transition period. I would definitely recommend this school.

My daughter has been to several daycares, and this by far is the best! There’s minimum free play. The kids are constantly learning and being challenged on a daily basis. They send lots of videos and pictures of the kids demonstrating their learning skills. My daughter has learned so much from this center and I’m truly grateful. I highly recommend bringing your kids here, you will not be disappointed.

Our kiddo has been in several area daycares (probably 5-6) over the past 4 years as her mom is "particular". I'm a dad so most of them are fine... I'd argue the staff here is a cut above. Diverse, engaging, friendly, and responsive. The director, Ms. Dee, is phenomenal. Her teacher, who is either "Ms. Geneva" or "Ms. Evey" is great. Don't let the "bring a lunch" thing dissuade you, this is the place to bring your kid.

We have been so happy with the Goddard School at Coddle Creek! The teachers all care so much and love our son like their own. I have complete peace of mind leaving my most prized possession in their hands during the day. Everyone is always so kind!

Safest & Happiest place for my baby. The Goddard School is the best daycare out there & I cannot express how happy and blessed I feel that my daughter is part of this school. As a 1st time mom, I was looking for a daycare where my baby will get the needful environment to be social & most importantly learn as she grows up. The Goddard School has got those elements as the most caring teachers caters to each and every child’s development.
The nurture & care that my daughter receives at The Goddard School is outstanding. In simple words let me tell you that within 1 month she started waving back at me & daddy when dropping her in the morning. This simple gesture from my little one gave me such peace and made me understand how much she enjoys there.

The Goddard School at Coddle Market is amazing. All the teachers and staff are so nice and truly care about your child. Ms. Katherine, Ms. Jessica and Ms. Kay have been amazing for my child. he has learned so much. he loves going to school everyday to see his friends and teachers.

My one-year-old daughter and us as parents are loving our experience in this day care. Her teachers are amazing. They send us pictures and videos everyday of their activities, they help her with her eating habits, walking and speaking development, and her motor skills. We also love that they speak in Spanish to her. I have a good relationship with her teachers and I am so grateful for them.

Covid has provided an interesting introduction to parenthood for us- our son is about to turn 2 and is in Ms. Rose’s class. We’ve never known a world where parents could walk their children back to the classrooms, but Ms. Rose has done a great job in making us feel connected to how our son is doing in class. Ms. Rose goes above and beyond in the cleanliness of her classroom to reduce the risk of illness among the pandemic. I think my favorite aspect is it feels like she treats our son like he’s the only child in her class. We will miss Ms. Rose when our son graduates to the next class!

I wish I could give the staff here more than 5 stars! My son started here full-time this summer and we have been blown away by the quality of the programming, communication from teachers/staff, and (most importantly) the true love they show to students each and every day. He has grown so much and is so happy attending. I can't express how much peace they have given me knowing he is in such great care while he is there!

I am a first time mom who is very protective of my baby. I have been pleased with Goddard school since my son started at five months old. The staff clearly loves my baby and takes very good care of him. Now that he is over a year old he is excited to see his teachers and he loves them right back. There’s no better feeling than knowing that your child is happy and that he is loved and cared for when he is not with you. The curriculum and many other educational things they do during the day is a wonderful added bonus.

I am very pleased with the Goddard School. The teachers and staff are compassionate, caring people who do their best to create a loving environment for children. Ms. Dee, the director, is phenomenal. She has great rapport with the teachers and seems to know all of the children and their parents by face or name. A good director is key.

I cannot say enough good about Ms. Rose, the toddler teacher. Ms. Rose is THE BEST. She is high energy, which is perfect for a room full of 1 year olds. She is always skipping, singing, and engaging the kids, and you can tell that the children love it (and her). She treats the children like her own and you can tell how comfortable they are with her. What I like the most is the relationship she builds with parents. We talk about my son's growth and development and she makes sure to support the things we are working on at home. Everyone...

We love Mrs. Rose ❤️ She played a huge role in making sure our sweet girl was comfortable after moving from out of state. I don't know what we would have done without her. I’m a first time mom who was nervous about taking my baby to daycare. Goddard has done a fantastic job of taking care of my daughter. All of the teachers are wonderful and they are so good about keeping with baby’s schedule or answering any questions. Laura is amazing - she’s so knowledgeable about what she does and with how each baby is doing every day. The director and owner are also both really great, and they assist you with whatever you need. I highly recommend bringing your child here.

Totally appreciative for the dedication and commitment this school provided my daughter and I for the past 2.5 years. Every business has there ups and downs, but through it all this school has remained my constant. From the first day, the teachers have challenged my daughter mentally and she is now a 4 year-old enrolled for Kindergarten a year early. Working on skills from speaking a foreign language (Portuguese/Spanish) to writing her full name — my child has the educational foundation she needs to succeed in her next chapter of elementary school. Special thanks to Ms. Asia, Ms. Richelle, Ms. Ginger, Ms. Rosana, Ms. Dee, and Mrs. Malvika.

Love this place! My daughter was with them for several months just to get used to a school environment before Kindergarten and loved it. She learned so much and made many friends.

We could not be happier with any other place! TGS at Coddle Creek Market is wonderful. Our son goes to pre-k two days a week and you would think he goes every day with the way he talks about his adventures, friends and teachers. The structure of teaching is amazing and definitely satisfies our son’s thirst and excitement for knowledge. He retains what he learns and absolutely loves his teacher, Miss J. She is amazing and a wonderful person. Lisa, the Assistant Director, knows well how to successfully get a school to maintain high standards while showing that caring and attentiveness to each individual student is the most important goal. That’s a powerful combination. The owners and Director have always been pleasant while running a top-notch facility. We will be sad for my son to leave when he enters kindergarten but plan to send our daughter there in the future!

I am very happy to put both my kids in this school...teachers are very friendly....and most important is me and my wife both feel peace of mind after sending my kids to there..they are in good hands...i usually i don't give review but their (TEACHERS AND STAFF AND THE OWNER )effort in making a wonderful space for children s , need to be appreciated...

You can also read my husband's review on this page - I wanted to add my own reflections as this school has been so wonderful for our daughter. We enrolled her for a short space of time between when we moved to the area and when she was going to start "big girls school" at 5. Sofia's life had gone through a bit of upheaval as we had to move quite suddenly to the US from NZ, she welcomed a baby brother into the family, and we settled in to living with my husband's family - whom Sofia hadn't spent much time with previously. The school was so understanding and supportive of this change in her life. They made her feel special when she started and continuously supported her to be independent and resilient in her new circumstances. Their curriculum is fantastic and their emphasis on child safety and wellbeing is remarkable. Many thanks for making our transition so much easier!

We recently relocated to the area and our 10month old started going here in March. We have truly loved our experiences with the staff, director and owners. They have always been supportive of our infant and encouraging his creativity with so many activities and crafts. My only critic of the school is I wish they had extended hours.

Great School with super friendly staff who are always available to answer any questions or concerns. My daughter started here in May and is enjoying it so far. She goes three half days per week and lately has been requesting to go more often to see her friends :) We are so pleased she's liking it and that the transition being away from home hasn't been too difficult.
