Montclair Veterinary Associates

I just had the most amazing appointment with Montclair Vet Associates! I have 2 cats and 2 dogs at home, and I have considered switching vets for a few years now, because my anxious dog really didn’t do well at our previous vet. I hoped there was someone out there who really understood reactive dogs and how to handle them with the utmost compassion and patience. Well, I found those people! Dr. Cory Waxman and Jim took wonderful care of my nervous Trixie today. Poor lady was due for a comprehensive exam, bloodwork, and vaccines, and I could not believe how well she did during the exam! No trembling! No growling! No jerk reactions. They did not rush at all through the exam, and we had a chance to go through all of Trixie’s history and medical issues, so I felt truly heard. Dr. Waxman was very caring, professional, and knowledgeable, and he made recommendations for Trixie that my previous vet clinic had not. I feel confident we are on the right path forward now. Shout out to Tyler at the front desk who was lovely and kind, and returned my message instantly when I had questions the day before the appt. Finally, the parking is plentiful. You drive to the back of the building (very clear signage btw), park, and walk right in to the office. So relieved to have found my new vet!
