MRC has truly saved my life. I have been battling addiction for over 10 years now. I have been to 7 treatment centers, 3 hospital detoxes and 2 IOP's. MRC is by far the best experience I have ever had and more importantly, the one that kept me sober. Most of the staff are in recovery themselves and understand 1st hand the misery and destruction that this disease causes. They provide a controlled but loving atmosphere for the addict to heal. They challenged me and built me up at the same time. MRC is the only place that educated me, supported me and didn't necessarily give me what I wanted but gave me exactly what I needed. I left MRC with a solid foundation to recovery and the hope that I can live a happy, sober life :)

MRC without a doubt is the reason I’m still alive today. I hit an all new rock bottom and had nowhere else to go, and the staff did everything they could to get me help. My insurance wouldn’t pay for treatment so they helped me to get a scholarship so I could get the help I needed. I’ve been to treatment before but MRC is on a different level. The facilities are great, and the staff genuinely care about us, our well-being, and doing whatever they can to help our recovery. I am currently in Phase One of their long term program and plan to stay for my first year of sobriety and there is nowhere else I’d rather be to get back on my feet. MRC told me I could get my life back and exceed my own expectations, then they showed me how. They walked with me through the process, reassuring me, loving me, and guiding me every step of the way. The staff here care about each individual client and they personally understand what it takes to endure this process and change a life of bad habits and poor choices. The facilities and layout of their program is unlike any other and I personally think other rehabilitation centers need to be following their lead. If you dont know where to go to get the help you know you need, now you know. They saved my life and they're willing and capable of doing the same for you.

I've been at mrc for 6 months and I cannot say enough good things about them! I've gotten sober and made a new better life because of mrc! I came to Missouri from oklahoma and loved it so much i decided to stay. I've reconnected with my family, learned how to live life sober, and created new friendships and lifelong connections with people I would have never met otherwise. This place is absolutely, positively, the only reason I am sober today. I have tried other rehab environments but nothing has come close to the way that MRC approaches giving every single one of their clients the best chance at recovery one could hope for. The facilities, staff and experience is second to none. Most all of the staff are in recovery themselves so they TRULY understand how to approach and handle some very unique situations. MRC absolutely saved my life and there’s no words to express how grateful I truly am for this program. When I came in, I had no car, just evicted from my apartment, and utter hopelessness. Since going through MRC Phase 1 and Phase 2, I now have almost 10 months sober, new car, and was given the tools to start working on becoming the best version of myself. This is such a lifesaving facility! MRC goes above and beyond to give their clients and their families the best resources for success in recovery of drug and alcohol addiction. They are personal and have a great ethics outlook. And can personally say that without them I have no idea (and it scares me to think about) where my son would be today!

When it comes to Midwest Recovery Center I truly have to admit that this has been the experience of a lifetime. After going to treatment in Cherry Hills, New Jersey I can say both places have done me a lot of good in such a short time. From nearly losing my life to alcohol/medication to losing my family this place has shown me a lot of hope and gratitude. Getting the tools to succeed in life as well as learning new coping skills to deal with grief, going through a horrible break up and just getting tools to help me be a accountable father. Midwest recovery centers is by far the best treatment center I have ever been to. All of the staff are amazing and treat you with respect and dignity throughout the entire process. They really take the time out to get to know you individually and they were a huge help on my journey to sobriety. Would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is struggling or has a family member struggling with addiction. They use group sessions along with the 12 steps and aa/na to give you a strong foundation for going back out into the real world.

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Midwest Recovery Center and are so glad our son chose them out of all our treatment options. We have our son back!! Every single employee that our son has worked with has proved they only care about our son's recovery. Even when our son was down, the staff was right there to pick him up. The multi-phase levels of treatment are teaching our son not only to work on his addiction but also all other factors that played into it. We are finally optimistic about his future.

Midwest Detox helped my husband to find his sober way. Here they helped him find tools and coping mechanisms to help his sobriety. The staff are supportive and assist to a certain point but you need to have the desire and will to succeed.

When I first knew I needed help with my addiction I searched all over the internet for what I thought I wanted in a treatment center. I knew a bit about the 12 steps and thought that wasn't for me. However, I ended up picking Midwest Recovery because of the freedom it still seemed to offer while still being in a controlled safe environment, despite it being 12 step based. Upon coming here I was greeted with nothing but warmth and acceptance from both staff, and the other clients in the house. My husband and I chose Midwest Recovery Center for our son. Based on what we had heard, we felt it would be a good place for him. It wasn’t an easy path, there were ups and downs...but the group and our sons counselor stuck with him and helped him through those rough times. This facility changed my life. 46 days sober and happy to be alive! Some of the staff isn't very good but the house managers are great. I pray for the folks in recovery and I thank my peers for helping me become a better person. Don't let anyone take that from you, just look out for clinical directors and little idiots. Midwest Recovery Centers is a facility that has truly saved my life. This facility would not be a success without its amazing staff members that provide a service with such passion and authenticity to our recovery thats quite impeccable. They provide you with knowledge and tools to help you transition yourself into a self sustaining, successful member of society, and the opportunity to find love for yourself. The facility itself is great, and the residence and peer support is phenomenal and supportive with my recovery.

Awesome place for drug and alcohol addiction treatment

We chose Midwest Recovery Centers to help our son because MRC takes a long-term approach to addiction. Additionally, the entire staff is in long-term recovery; they know what my son is going through and that’s reflected in their approach. They adhere to their plan, treat my son with the integrity and respect, and they have a genuine compassion and desire in helping, and wanting to see, my son succeed. I feel that MRC is providing my son the tools that he needs, and if he puts in the work / uses them, he has a realistic opportunity for recovery.
