AFC Urgent Care Torrance

Went there for my leg injury and met a beautiful doctor named Maria who assisted me with my Injury, she was very polite and did not rush.

On Christmas Eve, I sought care at urgent care for severe pain in my left knee. The physician assistant, Maria Fernandez, was exceptional in quickly identifying the root cause of the issue. She demonstrated great diligence in outlining an effective treatment plan and provided clear guidance for follow-up care, all in a timely and efficient manner. Her professionalism and expertise were greatly appreciated.

Very Professional, all the staff which includes the Manger are very helpful. Not long waiting, and so pleasant. There office is so polite and helpful in all categories when need something for you JOB.

This used to be our go to urgent care center bc it is awesome to save your place in line. However, they no longer have an x-ray technician on staff, so if you need an X-ray, call ahead!

I had a really positive experience here when I was looking for a same day appointment for my chest cough.

I needed a same day appointment since my cough was getting worse after a week and my primary care doctor didn’t have availability. I found AFC Urgent Care looking at highly reviewed urgent care centers in my area on Google Maps, since my PPO insurance has many in-network options.

The AFC website showed a 30-minute wait time for walk-ins and times for many same day appointments, so I went ahead and started the sign-up process online. I added photos of my license and insurance card, added my personal info, and had my appointment set online in a few minutes.

Once I got to the Urgent Care, I checked in with the front desk ladies, paid my copay, and filled out a payment form for the charges that I would get during the appointment. I waited about...

I had a great experience here at AFC urgent care located in Torrance.I came to get a TB vaccine and I had a great MA named Janella, her service was quick and easy. She made me feel really comfortable and had a really great and outgoing personality! Definitely will be coming back to AFC for any medical needs. Great staff and was quick to be called in. This is my mom's first time coming to AFC urgent care. Although she had a long wait and a long drive to get there, it was well worth it because they were thorough with every patient's medical history. She was seen by MA Tony and PA Danny. These people deserve a special shoutout. MA Tony had a positive attitude. This made my mom feel like that she was in good hands. The PA Tony was also exceptional. Not only he had a positive attitude towards patients, but he also had kindness, knowledge and empathy. He understood my mom's illness and gave the right medicine. He knew that my mom was going to cough later on, so he gave her cough medicine. That was the best decision ever because without it, her nonstop coughing would affect her sleep. We need more health care providers like PA Danny and MA Tony . Danny is worth it to be an MD because of his knowledge and his kindness. I highly recommend...

I had a great experience from start to finish here. I came in yesterday on Sunday. I scheduled an appointment online for 1:30pm but showed up earlier around 1pm as I was running errands in the area. They were quite busy with only one Physician Assistant on hand, but Nika at the front desk was so sweet and said she could give me a call in an hour or so to come back in as I was around the corner.

About an hour later I got the call, came back in,
and was seen quickly. I was unsure about my “injury” and whether it was Urgent Care worthy but I never felt I wasn’t taken seriously by any of the staff on hand.

The PA, Wariam, whom I’m sure had a busy day, took the time to listen to me and provide a solution for me. I’ve been practicing her recommendation for the past 24 hours and have felt relief for the first time in weeks. (THANK YOU - something simple, but...

Great quality service all the Doctors and assistants are honest. Had my stitches removed with NO pain at all. I asked if i needed medication they were honest and did not upsell any pharmaceuticals. Dr Wariam was excellent and thorough in explaining my recovery.

Would highly recommend this Urgent Care over most in Torrance.

The initial staff and xray technician provided fast and swift service served with a smile and kindness. The Dr. was very informative and knowledgeable. She even ensured that I understood the medical terminology on my discharge papers.

Came in to AFC Urgent Care Sunday Morning. I needed Xray’s, for my foot, I thought it was a bad sprain, and turned out to be a fracture. Everyone was super friendly, kind and I was not rushed. The X-Ray technician was extremely knowledgeable. The receptionist was amazing she emailed a note to my employer. The provider I saw was beyond sweet, kind and understanding, very personable. These are the type of people we need in healthcare. Thank you all for your help on an early Sunday morning. I would definitely recommend your facility to family and friends.

Front desk personnel was professional and very polite. The doctor addressed my concerns by carefully listening to me, took his time and prescribed the medicine that, as of today, has minimized my pain. I will continue to use AFC for my urgent concerns. Beyond 5 stars!
