The Marina Grill was recommended to my friends and I while we were visiting Wilmington . Cisco was our server and made sure we had an enjoyable evening . We enjoyed the steak frites , a generous portion which my son and I split . The ladies had strawberry basil lemonade cocktails and Mr. Cisco made sure we were attended to during our visit there. Five stars for the food, drinks and service at The Marina Grill we’ll definitely go back and recommend them for anyone visiting the waterfront in Wilmington. Read more >

I was in Wilmington for the grand opening of Riverfront Park Amphitheatre 7/16-7/18. The amp was sold out for 7200 fans of widespread panic, a HEAVY drinking crowd. This restaurant is right next to the venue, & with that large if a crowd, things could've gone way south quickly. Yet, even after a pandemic, this was 1 of the most prepared bar/restaurants I've ever been to before a show. I was blown away by their kindness, fast/friendly service, PATIENCE, quality of food, and the space/view was perfection!
I've worked in the service industry for almost 20 years, & I made it a point to thank & commend the manager, Amanda. What a BOSS. She was checking on/helping all of her employees, & very friendly to all of the crazy guests even when they were standing in the way. After 2 pm on a Saturday and still no seats "available" but plenty seats were empty. Wait was 50 mins or only sit in direct sun or at the bar. Bartender wouldn't wipe the counter of the food scraps so we could sit. Not interested in repeat customers...or for that matter any customer. I'd be surprised if they make it thru the winter. Been a few times for dinner and it's always decent . The brunch very meh, ok but small portions and limited breakfast selections . There are so many great brunch options in that area I'd definitely recommend those before this place. Not awful but just ok. Read more >
