The Magical Beginnings family of schools was founded in 2000 with the goal of building a close-knit school focused on the growth of the individual child and creating a strong, supportive school family. Our philosophy of learning through play and personal expression through creativity help our students in in our infant, toddler and preschool programs explore the world around them and strengthen their positive self-image. Magical Beginnings is also one of just a few schools in Massachusetts to install Zono sanitizing cabinets. The Zono system uses earth-friendly, green technology to safely sanitize toys, books, dress up clothes, rest mats and almost any other item that can fit inside the cabinet. Without the use of harsh chemicals, the Zono system is able to kill 99.9% of germs including Staph, Flu, Norovirus and Hand, Foot and Mouth. We currently have 5 locations on the North shore. My son is 4 years old and has been with Magical Beginnings for over a year now. I had a nanny caring for him since 3 months old, full time. When I was confronted with my nanny needing to decrease her days from 5 to 3, I was devastated. My husband and I researched five local preschools. Out of all, Magical Beginnings, stood out the most. It was the most welcoming. The cleanest. No odor. No chaos. The safest security system in place. The one that gave me a feeling of safety and security for my child. The Director and the staff are amazing people. They took such an interest in not only adjusting my son to preschool but me, as well. Not only did my son have a difficult time so did I! The staff would help with the drop off as my son cried at the room door. As did I. They immediately called me while literally driving out of the parking lot to reassure me that he stopped crying, was perfectly fine, and playing. I cannot recommend a better place than Magical Beginnings. I not only like the creativity, the ideas, the thoughtfulness in every piece of art work , I love the staff. They are beautiful, kind, genuine people that I trust.
