I could write a book on how awesome Little Lights is and the people that work there. My three girls have attended for the last two years and I could not have found a better fit. Since my kids range in age my family has experienced the Infant, Toddler, Pre-K, and School Age programs. So I will give my thoughts on each.
Infant Room:
Ms. Debbie is one of the kindest and most loving people you could ever hope to meet. She loves all children as if they are her own and gives 110% of herself to taking care of your baby and you. She is a great resource for breast feeding and pumping while going back to work and so supportive of parents dealing with the difficulty of transitioning back to work and having to leave an infant.
The Toddler room:
They taught my daughter infant sign language, they do yoga, they sing and dance, they read to them all the time, and practice positive discipline. Just the most amazing staff of loving ladies that truly enjoy the kids and care about their social/physical/intellectual development at this crucial time.
Pre-K:
I really enjoy the curriculum LLCC uses. A lot of academics mixed in with art, play (song/dance/outside play). Each teacher is a little different but the three my family has experienced have been wonderfully attentive. Teachers have tracked academic progress and enriched my childs experience with field trips and class pets. I feel my child is very prepared for Kindergarten this fall and LLCC even does school tours to help transition your child to elementary school.
School Age-Before/After School:
My daughter loves all of the activities the school age room does from arts and crafts, sports, water days, wii, etc. They are so flexible and accommodating to our schedule. My daughter wishes she could attend more often and sees it as a reward to get to go.
Overall LLCC is a fantastic place. I feel my kids are safe and well cared for. The teachers and staff really try to provide the very best to your children. They are always warm and helpful. Can't imagine there is a better child care facility out there.
