Great experience with Marcus and team from LeBrun Electric. Found the company through Thumbtack, booked and we're out the same week to quote some work installing multiple dimmer switches. Before they came out, I realized the radon mitigation system in the new house we bought had never had electricity run to it. When they got here, I asked if they could give me a quote for that as well. They did a inspection of the electrical and gave me a reasonable quote. They installed the dimmers the same day, and came back the next day to run the wiring to the system and install a new breaker. Very satisfied with the work and cost. Read more >

Matt did good job of explaining to us what had to be done with our HVAC system. He gave us all the options and what his recommendations were. He completed the tasks in one trip. There was condensation in the furnace and filters were dirty which probably is the cause of our higher than same time last year’s electrical bill.

LeBrun came out and quoted some new lights in our dungeon of a living room. The price was definitely reasonable. We aren’t the type to shop around, unless we feel that we need to. Being in the construction industry, we know you get what you pay for. With LeBrun we definitely did. Dusty was very thorough with his onsite estimate. He came back 2 days later to get our lights installed. I couldn’t be more happy with the timely execution, and him walking us through the cool gadgets for our lights. How lucky was I to have Jay and Tom swoop in and work their magic, swapping out old halogen pucks for shiny new LEDs! BEWARE, particularly if you’re an elderly woman on a fixed income, because they will charge you an arm and a leg to hang lights.
I was charged $447.00 to assemble and hang a 7 pound light from an 8 foot ceiling and the same price, $447.00 to hang the same light from a 14 foot ceiling. Then they claim on the invoice that 2 men were required even though only one person showed up and did the job. They said they have to put 2 men required on the invoice due to safety and insurance reasons. Laughable. Read more >

Worked with Steve, excellent service. Walked him through a couple different projects, he took pictures, asked questions, thought up ideas. Was very quick about it, polite, efficient. The work could not be done immediately, but has been scheduled in a few days. I will come back with an edit after the work is done, but I look forward to seeing everything finished.

follow-up: Steve and Jesse came to do some ethernet wiring. They were excellent. There were several unexpected problems(not their fault) that could have been a nightmare for someone like me to get through. These guys nailed it. I cannot tell you how cathartic it was to take down my spiderweb of cords so they could be replaced by much shorter cords into the wall plugs. I had originally called LeBrun Electric because a breaker switch tripped and wouldn't reset. Two skilled electricians were scheduled within days. Marcus and his partner were professional and friendly, even taking the time to get to know my rescue dogs.

They took the time to assess the breaker trip issue, as well several non-functioning outlets I pointed out. They also noted switches and outlets that needed GFCI upgrades. They provided me with all of my options for the repairs and upgrades.

This efficient team completed the work in a matter of about 3 hours and the pricing was very fair. I will use this company for all future electrical work! Read more >
