We rescued a very large, young, strong black-lab / pit-bull mix but did not have an adequate fenced area for him to do his "zoomies" in to burn off some of that boundless youthful energy. We originally contacted a local big-box hardware store to request a contractor reference to install a fairly large - roughly 70' x 30' by 6' high, sturdy chain-link fence dog run in the corner of a pasture, but the experience with their appointed contractor was nothing like the big-box store advertised. Their initial contact by email instead of phone took days longer than it was supposed to, and after a few weeks of being more or less "ghosted" by them, in the end they never even sent a rep out to us to give us a firm estimate.
We started looking for someone else and were immediately struck by seeing that League City Fence, unlike most others we had seen, was actually listed as an A+ Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau, which indicates a lot of determination and confidence in your ability to satisfy your customers. From the first contact with JR Gautreaux to the on-time clean-up and completion of the job, we were super impressed with the responsiveness of their team and professionalism of their installers and the quality and workmanship of the job. There was no attempt to upsell us at any point. The price was more than fair and compared favorably with what different local pricing services were saying was typical for the area, and especially when compared to the sort-of-but-not-really-firm estimate the big box store's chosen contractor gave us before they would even send a rep to give us the real estimate. We're very happy with the work League City Fence did, and so is that big, flying mutt of ours!
