So this fella does fine work. I should have some idea - I have been practicing law since November 1993 - doing mostly bankruptcy and family law. Regarding a DVPO violation in a messy domestic matter (restraining order) another top crim defense attorney from Tacoma ref’d Matt’s eastside colleague who in turn said Matt would be better qualified to handle the matter. So Matt handled it - and even went the extra mile to secure an order sealing part of the court file to protect the privacy of the couple’s children. Matt secured the Judge’s approval (and that of the prosecutor) to seal portions of the court file. The estranged wife “victim” in this messy divorce (she was not the brightest bulb on the string of lights) had filed a pile of ranting paperwork in the DVPO proceeding that said horrible things about her own children - just to be vindictive towards her estranged husband...
