I've been sending my daughter to Kiddie Junction Educational Institute since she was an infant, and I couldn't be happier! She is five now and attends Kiddie Junction half the day every day before kindergarten in the afternoon. She also attends their summer camp program, For Kids Only, during the summer and loves it! The staff are warm, caring, and attentive. They keep me informed about my child's daily activities, meals, and milestones daily. The facility is clean, safe, and well-organized. My child has learned so much and formed many wonderful friendships throughout the years. When looking for a daycare, reviews matter so I thought I would share my input and honest review of Kiddie Junction. I’ve looked at so many daycares before ultimately deciding to send my 8 month old daughter to KJ. From the beginning - Ms. Lisa the director, has been amazing to work with. The enrollment process was a breeze and she was so patient with all of our questions and concerns as new parents. The facility itself is clean and well decorated for kids to enjoy. We love the fact that it’s colorful and not just boring neutral walls, toys & furniture; this place is actually designed with kids in mind.

Also, diversity and inclusion is very important to my family and we saw so much diversity among the staff and students of KJ. The staff is a big plus as to why we chose this place, all of the teachers we’ve encountered have been so friendly and seem to really enjoy... Read more >

where to start, my daughter came to this school behind on verbal communication and within about two months it’s like a light switch flipped she’s having full on conversations with me and also I praise them for teaching the littles how to wear a mask she’s a little over 2 and she will wear her mask in the grocery store or shopping... I had a lady comment to me at Walmart how do you get her to keep her mask on my 2 year old won’t have it and I told them it was all her daycare... they deeply care about the children and families... love this place! The first thing I thought when I walked in here was “this is where I’d want to be if I was a child”. The spaces are fun and imaginative and the love and care the staff has for the children is apparent. My children are extremely social and developmently ahead in most areas and I thank a lot of that to Kiddie Junction helping raise, teach, and develop my children. Read more >

My two girls spent their first years at Kiddie Junction. Ms. Robin and her sister were wonderful people, and her staff of teachers were just as wonderful. I remember a time when we struggled to pay for the school and Ms. Robin didn’t hesitate to help us out. The teachers were so kind and we really miss them and wish them all well.

My girls have such great memories there and they sure miss it. We have nothing but amazing memories! We live in Georgia now and every time we come back to visit our family in Des Plaines, we always pass KJ and great memories come to mind, it’s bittersweet. 😢

As a parent of a child who attended Kiddie Junction Educational Institute please know I have high standards working in the early childhood field therefore this family, the KJ family, has a history and read the reviews (before this incident) of 35 years excellence, Gold rated. A horrific decision made by three teachers will sadly ruin this school’s reputation. We had all positive interactions with one of those teachers.
