Joyful Tots Early Learning Schools-Oak Park

From the moment I toured Joyful Tots, I was eager to enroll my little one. The level of care and concern for the well-being of children AND their families is really awesome. The vegan/vegetarian meals, educational curriculum , and family engagement are all wonderful. I’ve been especially impressed with how the center managed their response to COVID and the safe return of the children. Well worth it!!

Since my daughter has been enrolled, the staff at Joyful Tots have been very helpful and informative. I can tell my daughter is very comfortable there because she'll literally rush me whenever its time to drop her off. They are professional, welcoming, and responsive. She's definitely going to be a Joyful graduate in a few years!

My child has been going to Joyful Tots since they were 6 months old. I have always felt very comfortable leaving her in their hands while I had to work. The staff is amazing! You can tell that they truly care about all of the children in their care. They also emphasize clean eating and feed the children nutritious foods that the kids love! Dr. Tammy Jefferson, the director is always present and available. She truly is amazing. Joyful has been a blessing to our family and I am so glad we found it. I highly recommend to anyone!

We have been part of the Joyful family for over two years and we couldn't be happier. We love the structure, unique learning opportunities, family engagement, and experiences they provide. Dr. Tammy and the staff do everything than can to provide a rich and nurturing environment for the kids (and families!).
We are so glad we found Joyful! We will miss them when our son starts kindergarten in the fall.

Joyful Tots learning center helped my granddaughter to read all of her site words by the age of 3. The first word she learned was red. They truly care about what our children are eating. Junk food is not allowed. Whenever any type of reliable resources arrive they share with all the parents and extended families.

Joyful Tots is a great place for your child to attend. My son attended from baby to preschool and I LOVED it. From the staff, location, professionalism, clean environment, attentiveness and teaching, I would recommended this center to everyone. #1 on my list.

Joyful Tots provides a great learning environment for our child. As we met more parents, we were impressed that many had more than one child attend (older children had “graduated” from JT to primary school and younger siblings were now attending). This was a welcomed, unsolicited reference that eased our decision to move from home care to a childcare facility. The staff are helpful, professional and nurturing. They also treat the children with respect while balancing all of the personalities and emotions that come with caring for children.

I have known the owner, Tamara, for years. She is very professional and she has gone above and beyond to make sure the children are fed organic vegetarian meals that ingredients come from their garden. I have never seen a preschool put that much care into every aspect of a child’s environment. She has put so much effort into self development, is highly educated and highly respected in the business community. Do understand that due to the unique offerings of Joyful Tots there is usually a waiting list to get in. I highly recommend Joyful Tots to my clients. This place is a true asset to their community.

I love Joyful Tots! The staff is professional, kind, efficient, and really care about the children. As a first time mom, I couldn’t have picked better daycare for my son. They go above and beyond for the families they service. I am especially grateful for all the effort they put into keeping the children safe during this Covid-19 pandemic. Joyful tots were there for my daughter and I since they opened. Ms. Tammy took extra special of my baby and every other day in the facility. I would suggest Joyful to everyone I know needing child care.

I am glad this was a location I chose to send my daughter. She is now a Kindergarten and doing quite well due the things she learned with Joyful Tots. I'm impressed with her. I enjoyed the staff and the fact that at such young ages they are learning healthy ways with food. It is sticking with my little one. She was assessed with numbers, letters and other things and she did really well, despite COVID. Thank you guys for preparing her. I highly recommend this place.

We absolutely love Joyful Tots! And recommend them to anyone. Our little one started here as a 1 year old and is now going on 4. We couldn't imagine her anywhere else. Joyful teachers are so amazing, always happy to see our kids every morning, and treat our little one and us like family. Their programs are awesome, and our daughter learns so much, and seems to have a lot of fun too. She looks forward to going to preschool each day and I think that says it all!

This is the most educational, caring and loving childcare center in metro Detroit. I have several girlfriends whom have their children enrolled here and a family member whom has been employed here for awhile. You will feel very comfortable and secure knowing how well your child is cared for here. 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!!!

My daughter has been attending Joyful since she was old enough to be accepted (6 weeks). They were the first ones that were referred to me and I wouldn’t have chosen any other SCHOOL for my daughter. She loves her friends and the teachers at joyful. She always comes homes & she has learned new things. The staff is like family to me. You feel special when they know you on a first name basis and which parent you are to each student! Even the other parents get friendly and get to know you as well ☺️

The best decision I made was sending my son to Joyful Tots from the ages of 1-5. A very loving and nurturing environment. Management and staff treated us like family. My son was beyond prepared for kindergarten with awesome social skills!!! What a blessing for my family.

Joyful Tots has played a huge role in not only my child's development but my husband's and my development as young first time parents as well. The staff here is the epitome of supportive, and the family atmosphere allows children and parents to feel right at home. This was particularly important to us because we were extremely nervous about sending our daughter to day care. The staff took us in with open arms and helped ease our fears. Our daughter began with this amazing center at 10 months and will be heading off to kindergarten this fall. We are a little sad because it is coming to an end but we know she is more than prepared for her next steps. We are eternally thankful to Joyful for not only the wonderful experience our family has had with them but also for the life long relationships that we have built with other families. The staff at Joyful Tots are a blessing from above. I searched the area for a daycare and Joyful Tots was recommended to me. All three of my daughters have went to Joyful Tots. My family started at Joyful Tots when my son was six months old. He has since graduated and is now seven. So when my daughter was born there was no question about who would care for her. My family loves the care we receive from the teachers and staff. I can always count on the center to be clean and the children to be well feed. I love the fact that my children have always received healthy, organic, vegetarian (mostly) home cooked meals. Joyful Tots truly cares about putting healthy food in your body in order to stimulate your mind. I highly recommend Joyful Tots!! They will truly love and teach your child!
