20 years ago, I stepped foot in Dr. Russo's office and still feel immensely grateful I found him as my surgeon. At 40 years old with 2 kiddos and a husband, I have undergone multiple BA surgeries due solely to implant failure. At each stage, I have struggled with replacement of the device because of the failure rate of saline implants (25% +/- per both Mentor and Natureele's websites).

Here's my BA journey; which is a very rare case. In 2002 I received my 1st UTM saline devices and in 2007 my left failed (5 year old device). In 2017 my right failed (17 year old device). In 2022, my right failed again (3 year old device). In 2022, I decided to change both my right and my left from Mentor brand to Natrelle in hopes that maybe I'd have better luck with the device lasting. I went to see Sheila after a recommendation from a close friend. I have suffered from rosacea for many years. The redness was so bad that my young children often asked about it or family would ask how I had gotten such a bad sunburn. Dr. Russo and his team are/were incredible! I researched a ton of surgeons before my surgery, and while the five star reviews were one of the reasons I went with him, the decision was made as his team sticks with you through the whole process. From your very first visit, to surgery, to post op, you deal with the exact same nurses who you saw since day one. What’s nice is on the day of the surgery, it’s just you and the team. No other patients. They focus on you only the entire time. While I had some complications, I’m thankful I was with them and Dr. Russo was there. Brittani is the absolute best and most professional! Oddly enough I went to her for filler first to correct bad results and she is amazing - I got the best results. I was so happy with the results that I went back to her for Botox. I’m one week out and have the best results I’ve ever had with Botox!
